Algorithm culture has such a long history and tremendous influence from ancient times to the present.There are abundant contents and ideas of algorithms in ancient Chinese mathematics.Since the chapter Algorithm Preliminary including contents and ideas of algorithms entered the compulsory course of high school mathematics as a special learning module,there have been many problems in the actual teaching of Algorithm Preliminary.The most prominent problems are:First of all,people don't pay much attention to it because of the college entrance examination.According to the questions in the college entrance examination paper,the content of Algorithm Preliminary is only presented as a multiple choice with a low mark,so the front-line teachers often ignore this chapter.Secondly,The teaching method is outmoded and blank.The fastest teaching method in test-oriented education is doing a lot of exercises and algorithm teaching is no exception.At last,the programming language implements algorithm insulation.Although today's mainstream textbooks recommend students to verify algorithms on the computer,but it is difficult to achieve because of various factors.How to improve this teaching situation? This is the question I want to study.In 2003,the Common Senior High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(Experimental Draft)and Ordinary Senior High School Information Technology Curriculum Standards(Experimental Draft)both incorporated algorithm knowledge into the compulsory mathematics module 3,Algorithm Preliminary and the information technology elective module 1Algorithms and Programming.The two parts happen to be similar.Because the author has teaching experience in information technology courses,the teaching research of high school mathematics preliminary algorithm in the VB environment was proposed to improve the existing single teaching method.Meanwhile,using the easily understandable and visual VB language to implement the algorithm,and devising the systematic instructional design which is suited to the practical teaching situation for teaching exploration and implementation.So how to devise an effective systematic instructional design of the primary algorithm of high school mathematics in the VB environment and how to conduct an effective teaching research and get good teaching results?This article focuses on the following two aspects:(1)In accordance with the basic concepts and specific requirements of mathematics curriculum standards,and based on the mathematics curriculum standards and previous research results as the guiding theory,this research is to structure the basic principle of the systematic teaching design and teaching experiments.(2)Take Beijing Normal University Edition Compulsory 3 as an example,based on the principles of construction and combining the information technology recommendations in the textbook,the purpose is to devise a systematic teaching design of high school mathematics algorithm preliminary in the VB environment and start teaching exploration and implementation.This study first uses the literature analysis method to collect,sort,analyze,and classify relevant literature and constructs the basic theory of systematic teaching design and teaching research;then adopts questionnaire surveys and interviews to investigate the status of algorithm teaching in the author's school.In the end,based on the problems found,an effective systematic teaching design of "primary algorithm" for high school mathematics in the VB environment was designed based on the concept of curriculum integration and teaching research was carried out.The following relevant conclusions are worked out through practical teaching:(1)The teaching implementation of the primary algorithm of high school mathematics in the VB environment can improve the current status of single algorithm teaching,and it reflects the integration of mathematics curriculum and information technology.(2)The teaching implementation of the primary algorithm of high school mathematics in the VB environment can well strengthen students' intuitive experience of the algorithm,stimulate their interest in learning,mobilize their initiative and enthusiasm,and help train students' the basic idea of algorithms.(3)The teaching implementation of the preliminary algorithm of high school mathematics in the VB environment can effectively improve the teaching quality,enhance students' logical reasoning ability,and let students realize the importance of mastering algorithmic ideas to improve their mathematical ability.
