Chemistry is an experimental science,which highlights the characteristics of chemistry.Chemistry experiment plays an important role in chemistry teaching.It is emphasized in almost every chemistry textbook that chemistry experiment is the fundamental method for students to learn chemistry.Chemical experiments can stimulate students' interest in learning,cultivate students' ability of observation and practice,enhance students' ability of subject thinking and inquiry,help students internalize their knowledge and simplify their complexity.As we all know,experimental teaching plays an important role in students' learning.With the development of society,the education authorities gradually improve the importance of chemical experiment teaching,and the chemical experiment teaching in senior high schools in China has been greatly improved.However,due to the different ideas of people in different regions,different emphasis on education,different implementation of the new curriculum reform and other factors,the current situation of experimental teaching in different regions is also different.In particular,there are still many deficiencies in thechemical experiment teaching in the minority areas compared with the developed areas in the Middle East.The author takes chemistry teachers and students of seven different levels in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province as the research object,and studies the current situation of Chemistry Experiment Teaching in senior middle schools in minority areas through literature review,questionnaire survey of teachers and students in each grade,teacher interview and other ways.In this study,we carry out in-depth research on chemistry experiment teaching in senior high schools in minority areas from the perspectives of laboratory configuration,teachers and students.The research contents include laboratory configuration,teachers' attitude towards experiment teaching,the implementation process of teachers' experiment teaching,the opening situation of demonstration experiment,the opening situation of group experiment,the way of experiment assessment,students' attitude towards chemistry experiment,and the reality Students' participation in the test process,the development of extra-curricular experiments and the openness of the laboratory.Through the research,the main problems of chemical experiment teaching in senior middle schools in ethnic minority areas are as follows:(1)the laboratory hardware configuration is not perfect,the instruments and drugs are lack,the quantity and quality of experiment teachers are insufficient,and the modern teaching equipment is lack;(2)teachers and students do not pay enough attention to chemical experiment,the teaching concept is old,and the teaching method is backward;(3)the experiment rate is low,and the laboratory is open Low degree,low participation of students,single way of experiment assessment;(4)teachers' chemical experiment literacy is low,their professional ability is insufficient.Based on the above problems,the author puts forward some suggestions to improve the current situation of chemical experiment teaching in senior middle schools in ethnic minority areas:(1)improve the teachers' attention to chemical experiment teaching;(2)change the students' learning attitude towards chemical experiment;(3)strengthen the laboratory construction,improve the experimental teaching resources,improve the hardware configuration of the laboratory,and strengthen the full-time experimental teachers To improve the rate of opening experiment and the degree ofopening laboratory;(4)to optimize the experimental teaching methods and improve the experimental assessment methods;(5)to enhance teachers' professional quality,change teachers' teaching concept,establish teachers' lifelong learning concept and improve teachers' experimental ability.In a word,experimental teaching is an important method of senior high school chemistry teaching,and also an important way to cultivate students' chemistry core literacy.As a chemistry teacher in the minority areas,the author found some problems in senior high school chemistry experimental teaching in the minority areas through the investigation and analysis of the current situation of chemical experimental teaching in this area,and proposed to improve the chemical experiment in the minority areas The author hopes that this study will have some reference value to the chemical experiment teaching in the minority areas.
