Because of the influence of natural, historical, economic, political and cultural factors, the local people's lack of attention to Chinese teaching determines the arduousness and complexity of Chinese teaching in middle schools in western China.Therefore, it is particularly important to pay attention to the present situation of middle school language teaching in western remote ethnic areas and explore the effective strategies to improve this situation.This paper investigates the status quo of middle school language teaching in the western remote ethnic areas (taking the Tibetan and Qiang areas in Tanchang County,Gansu Province) through the combination of questionnaire and interview survey, and finds out some main problems, including the local characteristics This paper puts forward the strategies to improve the current situation of Chinese teaching in middle schools in the western part of ethnic minority areas in western China. In order to explore the middle school Chinese teaching mode with western characteristics, we can improve and develop Chinese teaching.This paper is divided into four parts: the first is the introduction, focuses on the research background,research significance,domestic and foreign research status and research objectives and methods; followed by investigating the local middle school language teaching status, in order to find the existence of The main problems: the lack of national culture in the language teaching materials; lack of language teaching resources;the overall level of language teachers is not high; students interested in learning Chinese language is not high; education funding is low and so on; then focus on analysis of these The reasons for the status quo: the special environment of the western remote ethnic areas; teachers are weak and backward teaching methods, school education funding shortages and mismanagement; secondary school students on the understanding of chaos,family education concept behind; the last is to improve the western remote ethnic areas The development of language teaching resources; improve the level of language teachers in western remote ethnic areas; update the language teaching concept and improve the language teaching methods; the state to increase support efforts.
