| Chemistry is a subject based on experiments,which can enable students to quickly master the subject knowledge,improve their interest in learning chemistry,and cultivate their spirit of exploration and innovation.Experimental operation is the basic way to achieve the experimental function.Thus,to improve students' ability in experimental operation takes a vital role to form students' subject quality.The purpose of this study is to comprehensively investigate the current situation of students' experimental operation ability,understand the weak links of students' experimental operation,and propose a targeted improvement program so as to train and improve students' experimental operation ability and improve their chemical accomplishment.Based on the literature review of experimental operation research,this study specifically analyzes the requirements of the new curriculum standard on students' experimental operation ability,determines the testing program of experimental operation ability,and designs evaluation tools to measure students' experimental operation ability.Questionnaire survey was used to understand students' cognition of the operation knowledge of chemical experiments.The method of observation is adopted to observe the students complete the specific experimental operation and understand the current situation of the students' experimental operation ability.The interview method was also used to understand the students' attitudes towards doing chemical experiments and the teachers' views on their own operation level,so as to supplement the investigation conclusion.The study finds that students' awareness of relevant experimental operation situation is relatively ideal.And the passing rate of students' cognition about some experimental operation is above 90%,such as the solution preparation steps,counter balance,the use of the volumetric flask,filtering,evaporating operation,the use of the use of alcohol lamp,glue dropper,solid reagent use,water bath heating.However,the hands-on ability of relevant experimental operations is very poor.Among the experimental operations concerned in the study,only the filtration operation,the use of liquid reagent and the water bath heating are qualified;weighing operations,solid dissolution,evaporative crystallization,assembly of instruments,the use of solid reagents,drainage,washing and maintenance of the laboratory bench in an orderly and convenient manner are all at the unqualified level,none of which reaches the level of excellence.On the basis of the above analysis and research,we analyzed the causes of students' weak experimental operation ability from the three aspects,students,teachers and teaching resources,and further put forward cultivation suggestions on improving students' experimental operation ability. |
