Narrative therapy advocates "de-specialization","subject initiative","diversity" and "self-concern",and emphasizes the relationship between human behavior and social environment system.Bibliotherapy itself implies the potential of recovery and growth in the process of self-actualization,and it is a very effective method to carry out children's services with convenient materials and flexible methods.In response to some challenges that social workers often face in children's social work,let the children free to express their thoughts and ideas,let children and their family members to actively participate in the process of problem solving,fully stimulate children's creativity and ability,let children have no burden to face and solve problems,this study will combine narrative therapy with bibliotherapy(take picture books as literature materials)to build a "picture book reading + narrative" practice framework,according to the characteristics of children's psychological and social development,which will create the security space of telling stories,meet children without problem,know children's life story,and make full use of various kinds of resources in the process.Through six different types of children's services,this article presents "picture books reading + narrative" method in practical application process of children's social work practice,mainly shows the director when receiving service attitude and reaction,the director of the follow-up tracking situation and thinking in the process of social work in the entire service,thus come to the conclusion that "picture books to reading+ narrative" method can be effectively in the children's social work practice.This method will help social workers and clients to establish trust relations of cooperation,let the children relax and tell their stories,express their ideas and needs,fullystimulate children's creativity and ability to think and face questions,it can help children find life stories which they like,help children gain confidence and courage,and through the witness continued to consolidate the power of new story.At the same time,different types of children face different difficulties,on this basis,social workers can choose appropriate picture books and targeted narrative methods to carry out services.The "picture book reading + narrative" approach emphasizes not solving problems,but improving various relationships,including the relationship between children and problems,family and problems,or the relationship between children and others when encountering problems.The reason is that by focusing less on problems and more on improving them,the negative impact can be mitigated.As a method,"picture book reading + narrative" has its uniqueness and service scope,and this method is suitable for both group counseling and individual intervention.Both bibliotherapy and narrative therapy are very creative and artistic working methods,and the "picture book reading + narrative" method is the same.Although there are rules to follow,it is also full of uncertainty,which poses great challenge to the capacity of social workers.In the end,this paper further discusses the topic of "respect and trust" in social work service,emphasizes the importance and reflection on language in narrative practice,and finally discusses the application of “ picture book reading + narrative ” in special children.
