As the global competition is getting fiercer,school education is the key in cultivating talents and basic education is playing a critical role in educating people.With the development of social and economic life,the Ministry of Education has revised the general high school curriculum system with Chinese characteristics based on the past years of domestic and international experience.With the promulgation of new curriculum standards,the concept of time and space in the history subject is becoming increasingly important.In recent years,cultivating the students' time and space concept literacy has become an important subject of research.However,we found that the concept of time and space is not in place during the process of teaching.The goal of this paper is to better understand the content of time and space concept literacy and the current status of students' grasp of the concept,as well as how to cultivate students in daily teaching.In this paper,the comparative method,case analysis method,survey method,and experience summary method are used to study Yunnan's college entrance history examination multiple-choice questions since 2015.We find out the knowledge points of the examination in the textbooks,and summarize the characteristics of the examination.At the same time,through the questionnaire survey,we understand the students' grasp of the concept of time and space literacy.Based on past experience,we conduct this research through the combination of theory and practice.This paper consists of an introduction section and four chapters.Introduction: We introduce the background and highlight the significance of this research.We review the state-of-art results and elaborate on the research methods we used in this paper.In addition,we explain the problems to be solved in this paper.Chapter one: We introduce the concepts of time and space literacy,and analyze the curriculum goals and academic quality of the time and space concept.In addition,we investigate the measurement standards,as well as the hierarchical structure.We furtherstudy the position of historical interpretation literacy in the core literacy of historical disciplines and its relationship with other core literacy.Chapter two: We use the space-time concept literacy reflected in Yunnan's college entrance examination multiple-choice question since 2015 as an incision,and study the characteristics of the literacy according to the focus of the test questions on the knowledge system of history textbooks(including three books on political,economy and culture)which are used in Yunnan.In this way,we conclude the characteristics of the test questions in recent years: the concept of time and space is connected with reality;the students are required to have a clear concept of time and space;and the combination of multiple examination methods is emphasized.Chapter three: This chapter summarizes our reflection on the concept of time and space in college entrance examination questions.First,according to the findings and discussions in previous chapters,we provide suggestions to integrate other core literacy in teaching and create new scenarios with social issues as the starting point.Furthermore,based on the questionnaires from students in some high schools in Yunnan,we conclude the status and main problems of students' grasp of the concept of time and space,study the current status of the history teaching of time and space concept literacy and propose corresponding suggestions and solution methods from both teachers' ' ‘teaching' and students' ‘learning' perspectives.Chapter four: We take the review class "Modern History of China(Economy)" as an example,and explain our efforts to cultivate the concept of time and space for high school students.
