In the 2011 version of the compulsory education mathematics curriculum standards,basic ideas and basic activities are added to the basic knowledge and basic skills.So in the teaching of mathematics,we should not only pay attention to the acquisition of knowledge and the cultivation of skills,but also the penetration of mathematical ideas and the accumulation of experience.The thought of Symbolic-graphic combination occupies an important position in the study of mathematics.Quantitative relations an d spatial forms are the research contents of mathematics,while symbolic are abstract and graphic are intuitive,the combination of them will solve a lot of problems,and information technology can do it.Using information technology meets the requirements of the General Senior High School Mathematics Curriculum Standard(2017 edition)for strengthening the integration of information technology and Mathematics curriculum.This paper takes chapters 3 to 5 of the first volume of the new high school mathematics textbook as the research content,uses the Network Sketchpad as a teaching assist ant tool,and combines with the author's practice experience to explore the teaching effect of infiltrating the thought of Symbolic-graphic combination in Function teaching.The research methods include literature research method,experimental research method and interview method.First,after reviewing related books,master's and journal papers,we knew the historical evolution of the combination of numbers and shapes,and clarified the value of the combination of numbers and shapes.To understand the relevant theoretical basis and study the arrangement of functions in middle school mathematics?the relationship between Function teaching and mathematical experiments.Based on this,the basic properties of functions,Exponential function,and Trigonometric function are taken as examples,the teaching research is carried out in combination with the Network Sketchpad,then we summarize the teaching strategies of function teaching that infiltrate the thought of Symbolic-graphic combination: studying textbooks,clarifying teaching goals;being proficient in multimedia,using information technology to accurately map;stren gthening the correspondence and transformation of numbers and shapes;encouraging students to think and cooperative learning.Second,it is the practical content of this paper,the application experiment of Net work Sketchpad in Function teaching.The experimental design,experimental procedures and experimental results analysis are introduced in detail.Experiments have proved that the application of the Network Sketchpad in the function teaching of high school can effectively improve the student's academic performance,and the students were willing to accept the Network Sketchpad into the classroom.Finally,combining with practical experience,the corresponding precautions for the use of the Network Sketchpad are put forward: attaching importance to the subject status of students;correctly understanding the auxiliary role of the Network Sketchpad;lighten students' burden;and combining with the blackboard writing.The purpose of this article is to use two months of teaching experiments to apply the Network Sketchpad to infiltrate the thought of Symbolic-graphic combination in the teaching,hoping to provide a reference for infiltrating the thought of Symbolic-graphic combination in the mathematics classroom,so that students can learn more effectively and better apply the thought of Symbolic-graphic combination.
