Self-care ability is one of the most basic abilities to adapt to society.Children from the reception classes a critical period to train children's self-care ability,which is beneficial to improving their social adaptive capacity.Children's self-care ability is a vital component.Outline clearly put forward with four educational goals in the field of early childhood health,including good habits and customs,basic self-care ability.Convention on The Right of The Child clearly put forward that children have the demanding right,inside right to existence is the most basic right for children to survive.Children's self-care ability is an important embodiment of the Right to existence.It referrers that ability can take care of yourself and deal with personal life independently formed in daily life,which also is one of the most basic abilities to adapt to society.As the first step of member's individual development,self-care ability determines the long-term development of children in the future.Along with the social competition increasingly serious,parents pay more attention to this ability.It is an important step for children to enter the society,meanwhile a prerequisite for children to enter the kindergarten collective life,which is instrumental in the cultivation of children's good sense of responsibility,independence and self-confidence.It is of great significance to promote children's perseverance and determination.Using N Kindergarten as an example,this study takes small class children as the research object,and studied the small class children's self-care ability under the background of large class size by questionnaire and interview.According to the results,under the background of large class size,the problems of children's self-care ability in small class are as follows: the children's awareness of hand washing is insufficient,and the method of hand washing is not correct;They after using the toilet,can't pull the inner and outer pants well,and they don't form good eating habits;the tabletop hygiene is poor when eating.The children are showing a poorly ability in wearing,taking off and covering,and are not good napping habits.The children's ability to organize personal belongings is weak.There's still exist a problem:parents hug the children when they enter and leave the kindergarten;There are age and gender gaps of self-care ability in life;boys are worse than girls in terms of self-care ability in life.The reasons for these problems are: the growth of children's self-care ability,however,is limited by their age;the development of male children's fine movements is not perfect;the development of their self-care ability is affected by the individual differences of the children.Parents have none of correct education concepts,and lack scientific education methods;teachers' professional quality is not high.Largeclass size results in heavy workload and lack of patience.The cooperation between the kindergarten and home is not close.Based on the current situation,the researchers found out the problems,analyzed the reasons and put forward the corresponding promotion strategies: starting from the age and gender of children to improve the life self-care ability of small class children;respecting the individual differences of children.Parents should establish correct education concepts and use democratic education methods.Teachers should enhance professional quality and skill,and cultivate children's solidarity and mutual aid behavior under the background of large class size.They should enhance interaction and communication to improve the ability of home cooperation.
