Throughout the promotion process of aerobics, the development in the primary stageis vitally important.Therefore, in order to promote the aerobics development in theprimary stage, the paper is focused on summarizing and analyzing the status ofextra-curricular aerobics classes in Beijing primary school.It is generalized a conclusionfrom the facts of organization structure,personnel characteristics, teaching and othercharacteristics,hoping to introduce the aerobics into the primary school, provide a usefulreference for the development of children’s aerobics, and improve the overall developmentof aerobics.This paper chose some students, teachers and parents of extracurricular aerobicsclasses in Beijing urban primary schools as the main investigation target, using of literaturedata, interviews, survey questionnaires, statistics, logical analysis and other methods. Thereare710questionnaires distributed,562people surveyed and interviewed, a total of120minutes recorded. The whole course of making the paper spent a year,includingsummarizing and analyzing the status of extracurricular aerobics classes in12urbanprimary schools.Through the23tables,21pictures,the students, the teacher,the faculty ofteaching, the acknowledgement of students and parents about aerobics classes and theinfluential factors, we got a whole understanding about the status quo of extra-curricularaerobics classes in Beijing primary school. The conclusions is followed:1.There are some extracurricular aerobics classes in the Beijing urban primary schools,but the level of development are diversity. The certain extent of urbans’ aerobics and thedevelopment level of extracurricular Aerobics Classes are interrelated and interact on eachother..2. The average age of the students participating in extracurricular aerobics classes arebetween8-10years old.The number of girls are significantly more than the boys.Themotivation of participating is distinct.The extra-curricular interest classes of teachingaerobics have good effect on physical and mental development for the students.3.The resource of professional aerobics teachers is weak. Generally,the teacher hashigh degree,well qualification and professionalism of the staff.The majority of teachers areenthusiasm in education, however,on the whole the staff is not standardized enough, theteaching level is not unity.4.The teaching content of extracurricular aerobics classes is sufficient and highlyindividualized.The methods of teaching is diversification and modernization.But there islack of standardized and unified teaching materials. The aerobics teaching methods aresuitable for students in the primary school,it is helpful for children’s physical and mental feature development.5.Aerobics has been widely recognized by the students and their parents in theprimary stage, but for lacking basic understanding of aerobics program, the majority ofparents are satisfied with the teaching program of aerobics teacher,identified that takingthe extracurricular aerobics classes has a long-term benefit for the children’s development.6.The conduct of extracurricular aerobics classes is affected by many factors,such asstudents,teachers,facility, which have promoted the project development in the elementarylevel, but it also brought some negative effects.
