In recent years,many countries and regions gradually regard self-development as one of the core qualities of children.The emphasis of self-development is to let children learn to study and live a healthy life.However,children with learning difficulties are often accompanied by low enthusiasm for classroom participation,inattention,poor self-awareness and even depression tendency.Their self-efficacy,self-esteem and self-development ability are lower than those of children without learning difficulties.Therefore,the transformation of children with learning difficulties has been paid attention to in recent years.Satir model believes that people can achieve growth and change,which constructs four goals of self-development: improving self-worth,making better choices,being more responsible and consistent inside and outside.At present,some empirical studies have proved that Satir model is helpful to improve the individual's self-efficacy and self-esteem level,and to promote the individual's effective self-exploration.It can be used for self-development guidance of children with learning difficulties.In this study,questionnaire survey,observation,interview and group assisted intervention experiment were used.Through the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods,the third and fourth grade students of a primary school in Hangzhou were taken as the research objects(48 children with learning difficulties and 194 general children).The current situation of the self-development ability of children with learning difficulties was investigated,and the Satirm based model suitable for children with learning difficulties was constructed The purpose of this project is to improve the self-efficacy and self-esteem level of children with learning disabilities through the Satir model group counseling,so as to improve their self-development ability.The first study investigated the current situation of self-development ability of children with learning disabilities,and compared the differences of self-esteem,self-efficacy and self-development ability between children with learning disabilities and general children.The second study designed and improved the Satir model group counseling program for children with learning difficulties.On the basis of study 1 and Study 2,24 children with learning disabilities in the experimental group were divided into 6 groups and treated with 8 Satir group counseling interventions(48 times in total)to explore whether the group counseling had a positive impact on their self-development ability.The results show that:(1)The self-efficacy,self-esteem and self-development ability of children with learning disabilities were significantly lower than those of general children;(2)The self-efficacy and self-esteem level of children with learning disabilities can predict their self-development ability,and self-esteem plays a part of intermediary role between self-efficacy and self-development ability;(3)The self-esteem level and self-efficacy of children with learning disabilities can be improved by group counseling of Satir model.The basic elements of Satir model are the important factors to play an effective role.(4)The self-development ability of children with learning disabilities can positively predict their academic achievement,and the self-esteem of children with learning disabilities can indirectly predict their academic achievement through self-development ability.(5)Satir model group counseling is recognized and loved by children with learning difficulties,and can be used for primary school students.
