Research On The Leadership Style And Suitability Of School Management Of Outstanding Headmistress In Junior Middle School

In recent years,the interest of headmistress in the field of basic education has been increasing year by year.Studies have shown that although women are not adequately represented in the position of principal,they are significantly represented among successful principals.The leadership experience of successful headmistress is of positive significance to the construction of headmasters in primary and secondary schools.The secondary education has multiple attributes and has special functions.At present,junior high school education is called the "depression" of basic education,and its task of reform and development is arduous.Therefore,junior high school education puts forward higher requirements on the leadership and management ability of principals.In the practice of running schools,some outstanding female headmasters of junior middle schools have made outstanding achievements in running schools and left a deep impression on people.Then,what are the characteristics of leadership styles of outstanding female principals in junior high schools,and do these characteristics of leadership styles adapt to the management needs of junior high schools? With these intuitions and curiosity in mind,this study takes this as the topic,hoping to have an in-depth understanding of the characteristics of the leadership style of outstanding female principals of junior middle schools,so as to provide more wisdom and experience for the optimization of junior middle school management and a new perspective for the selection and training of junior middle school principals.This study firstly sorted out the domestic and foreign literature on the research of female leaders and high school headmistress to clarify the existing research progress and shortcomings.The development of leadership theory and the main contents of leadership style theories are reviewed to lay a foundation for the follow-up research.This research selects outstanding female principals of junior high schools as the research object,and analyzes and summarized the characteristics of leadership style exhibited by excellent female principals through individual interviews and qualitative analysis.These characteristics are: cooperative sharing,innovation leading,good at communication,attention to detail,ability to do things,and overall awareness.Based on a brief analysis of the three practical problems in the management of junior high schools,this paper explains the main deficiencies in the management of junior high schools,which are closed school running,task-driven,administration-led,rigid management and control,and extensive management.From the shortcomings of junior high school management,the internal needs of junior high school management can be inferred.Finally,the author analyzes and discusses the possibility that the leadership style of outstanding female headmistress in junior middle school can meet the management needs of junior middle school.
