There are lots of experimential researches and theories explore about leadership, but most of them are based on Western values. More and more researches indicate that leadership is a special behavior embedded in culture context. Leader concept is much influenced by culture. Therefore, we must develop our own leadership theory. Under this condition, some scholar developed indigenous research based on Chinese culture, among which Zheng Boxun's Paternalistic leadership is the most popular one. Many researchers have studied it. However, these studies pay too much attention to Taiwan and Hong Kong of China, there is little study in the mainland of China. Especially ,there is little study about the mechanism of Paternalistic leadership and its results. In this study we explore the relationship between leader style and outcome.We took participants from 4 colleges or universities in Jinan, and revised the Paternalistic leadership scale. Then the participants from 10 colleges or universities responded to the revision scale. The conclusions as follows:1. The revision of the Paternalistic leadership scale has good structural validity, the three elements of the scale can be accepted, and the scale is creditable and valid, it is a useful scale for Paternalistic leadership in China.2. Paternalistic leadership of middle management of colleges and universities can affect the teachers'working attitude.3. The three elements of Paternalistic leadership can affect the teachers'honesty and working attitude alternately.
