China has implemented the one-child policy for nearly four decades, which has produced hundreds of millions of one-child families. The unfortunate death of the only child in the one-child family will bring endless grief to these one-child families and also lead to the emergence of the group who lost their only child in the society. After falling into the grief of losing their only child, they will bring about emotional problems such as negative withdrawal from the world, social avoidance, sensitivity, paranoia, irritability, loneliness and depression. Not only will their social life be seriously fractured, their life will also be seriously affected. It is of great practical significance to study the outcome and its influencing factors of the grief of those who have lost their only child. Moreover,in the era of big data, the research and accurate prediction of the grief of those who have lost their only child can also help relevant institutions or organizations to conduct more accurate resource allocation and rescue activities.Firstly, this paper summarizes and sorts out the literatures related to the loss of independence, including the definition of the concept of the loss of independence, the measurement of the number of the loss of independence, the survival dilemma, the psychological research on the grief of the loss only one child, the scientific nature of grief intervention, and the evolution of the national policy on the loss of independence.Literature shows that at present, there are few researches on the grief psychology of the lost only child in China, and the data collection range is small, and the research methods are mostly focused on qualitative analysis.Secondly, based on the 1045 pieces of data obtained from the national social science foundation project "risk response and return to normal life"(13BRK027),this paper conducted a descriptive statistical analysis of the situation of the people who lost their only child from three aspects of their personal characteristics, family characteristics and social characteristics. The analysis finds that some of those who lost their only child have low income, low educational level and weak ability to cope with the loss of their only child. Some couples are able to maintain their relationship, but their relationship deteriorated. Some of those who lost their only child with grandchildren have barriers to intergenerational visits; The loss of only one child can cause lasting grief; They often take the initiative to sever their social relations and seal themselves off,and more than half of them were discriminated against by others in the social circle.Although more than half of those who lost their only child have received help from the government or the community, only 8 percent of them have received psychotherapy.Once again, based on the situation of those who lost their only child, this paper conducts contingency analysis and chi-square test on the factors affecting the degree of grief of those who lost their only child.Studies suggest that the cultural level, income level, debt levels, loss of reason alone, alone the duration, marital status, household register, grandchildren or not, whether to receive special for the gold, whether to get support and whether participated in a group 11 factors such as heating activities, has a significant correlation with the degree of grief of loss only one child. Then use the orderly multi-class Logistic regression model to model the degree of grief and its influencing factors, study the interaction between various factors, and use the random forest model and binary classification logistic classifier Comparative analysis of independent forecasts.Research shows that the rural registered permanent residence, low income, low education, low debt, divorce of a spouse, longer periods of lost only one child than the other, lost only one child caused by accident or a long illness, receiving subsidies, receiving social support and those who did not take part in the heating group is easier to reduce the degree of grief, and there are more complex interaction effects between the factors. In terms of prediction performance, the good prediction accuracy of random forest with prediction accuracy of 73.68%,accuracy of 68.71%,recall rate of 80.61% and f1 comprehensive index of 74.19% is better than that of other models. Finally, based on the above research results, this paper puts forward the discussion on the topic of the loss of the only child's grief and puts forward the author's opinion. At the same time, the classical statistical research method and data mining model used in this paper are also the exploration of new methods in the traditional field, which is expected to provide a new idea for future research in this field.
