Break And Breakout:Body Discipline During The Transition Period

In the construction of Chinese national discourse,the body experienced "the enlightenment narrative since the 1920 s and the revolutionary narrative in the middle and late 20 th century".After the 1990 s,the body has been infiltrated into the consumption narration stage by "commercial capital and modern consumption culture".Based on the characteristics of the cover of the 15 years after the re-sale of the magazine "Popular Movie",this article intends to show:1.Constructing a realistic body throughout the whole process of disengagement from the patriarchal politics of the body,starting with the politicized narrative of the body,embodied in the life narrative of the body,and ending with the spectacle of the body;2.From the process of the state power using ideology to produce "literary and art workers" to the social masses to "consume" movie stars through economic means,the cover body of film magazines as a dominant social existence,through the "health" and "fashion" "With "sexy" means requisition,completed a hidden social discipline,not only led the public's perception and enlightenment of the self-body,but also accelerated the arrival of mass consumption culture;3.The discipline of the body not only exists in the gender construction in the first 30 years of the founding of the People's Republic of China,but also in the country's call for urban civilization in the early days of reform and opening up,the gaze of the consumer culture on the female body,and the existence of China gradually entering the world.The elements of the East are constructed.
