Function word is both important and difficult in Classic Chinese teaching.But it has not gotten the focus it deserves and teaching effect is also unsatisfied for many reasons.This article makes a research on Classic Chinese function words teaching according to Education department edited Junior Middle School Chinese Textbooks.This article contains six sections.Introduction mainly explained the origin of the topic,the research status,the meaning of this research and researching ideas of this article.The first section introduced the representative definitions and classifications of function words in academia firstly.Then generalize the characteristics of function words as mainly monophonic,polysemy,and different in ancient and modern.Finally explained the effect of function words: modify syllables,express tones,strengthen logics,form sentences.The second section made a summarize and analyze on function words in Education department edited Junior Middle School Chinese Textbooks,and categorized the 71 monosyllable function words into high-frequency,medium-frequency and low-frequency.Disyllable function words are fewer,but also can categorized into high or low frequency.The meaning of frequency summarize is to do a targeted teaching.Based on the questionnaire,below issues during function words teaching are found in the third section: different meanings gain the teaching difficulty,students lose the interest and can't understand the function word meanings,the teaching process is also stylized and fragmentization.In order to solve the questions,there are six teaching methods in the forth section: hierarchical method,classify-and-summarize method,replace-and-compare method,interpret the integration-of-front-and-back method,catch primary and secondary method and read in different ways method.The conclusion section summarized the full text,point out the main contain and conclusions in the article,and also made reflection on the lack of research.
