Vocational selection anxiety is a kind of emotion that comes from various difficulties and problems in the process of graduation and going to the society.In recent years,with the change of the national economic situation and the study of the employment situation,more and more college students are troubled by the vocational selection anxiety,which has deeply affected the physical and mental health of college students.Some studies have shown that career adaptability is one of the important factors that affect vocational selection anxiety.This study tries to explore the influence of career adaptability on vocational selection anxiety by adding meaning in life and locus of control.In this study,we used the tools of "career adaptability questionnaire","vocational selection anxiety questionnaire","meaning in life questionnaire" and "locus of control questionnaire" to conduct a questionnaire survey.600 college students were randomly selected to study the mechanism of career adaptability on vocational selection anxiety.There are research conclusions as follows:(1)There is a significant difference in students' meaning of life between whether they are the only child and where they live;Among them,the only child have a higher meaning of life than the non-only child,and college students from cities have a higher sense of life than college students from rural areas..There are significant differences in students' locus of control between in grade,singleton or not and family residence;Among them,seniors are more externally controlled than freshmen and sophomores,and juniors are more externally controlled than freshmen.Students from urban areas are more likely to be internally controlled than those from rural areas.Non-only child college students are more inclined to internal control.There is a significant difference between grade and family residence in vocational selection anxiety;Among them,seniors have higher vocational selection anxiety than freshmen,sophomores and seniors,and rural college students have higher vocational selection anxiety than urban students..There is a significant difference in career adaptability between single child and family residence;Among them,the career adaptability of the only child is higher than that of the non-only child,and that of the urban college students is higher than that of the rural college students.(2)College Students' meaning of life is positively correlated with career adaptability,locus of control and vocational selection anxiety;meaning of life and career adaptability are negatively correlated with locus of control and vocational selection anxiety.(3)Career adaptability can not only directly affect college students' vocational selection anxiety,but also affect college students' vocational selection anxiety through meaning of life and locus of control.
