With the enrollment expansion of colleges, college students’ employment pressure is growing, while the female university students’ proportion rises year by year, resulting in a huge group of scarce resources, therefore, female college students towards the first social than boys smoothly, the employment process of college students in sex discrimination phenomenon is also widespread, female college students employment problem has become a major social concern. The university stage is the individual career development period of exploration, and occupation maturity has an important effect on College Students’career development. Occupation maturity to make personal occupation decision conditions for awareness and choice of the reality and the consistency degree. This research also considered female college students occupation decision-making self-efficacy, directly determines its career maturity level; and female college students’ psychological characteristics that the locus of control of their occupation maturity has an important effect. In the current study, the relevant research on local of control, career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity of female college students is almost blank, therefore, we investigated female students’ career maturity and its relationships to local of control and occupation decision-making self-efficacy,which can make us learn more about their career psychological and its correlation factors,and will improve the effects focus of career counseling,help female college students to develop their own career planning and career decision capabilities to achieve their career goal.The study measures750college students form Wuhan and Jingzhou by career maturity inventory, career decision making self-efficacy scale and internality, powerful others and chance scale. And analyses data by SPSS16.0, employs descriptive statistics, compare means, correlation analysis and regression analysis to analyze the characteristics of local of control,career decision making career self-efficacy and career maturity of female college students, and the relationships among the female college students’ local of control,career decision making career self-efficacy and career maturity.The results show that:(1) Female college students’occupation most at medium levels of maturity, and in the occupation maturity levels higher than boys, and in low, high occupation maturity level is lower than that of boys. (2)Students in the overall occupation maturity, occupation, friends and relatives dependent on autonomic sex differences (t=2.147, t=2.454, t=-2.645, P<0.05), girls in the overall occupation maturity and occupation independent factor score lower than boys, friends and relatives dependent factor score higher than boys.(3) Girls in occupation maturity and various factors are not significant differences of disciplines; history of professional students in occupation of confidence (t=2.151, P <0.05) and occupation independent (t=2.272, P<0.05) there is significant difference; Institute of professional college students in the occupation target (t=1.973, P<0.05), friends and relatives dependent (t=-2.245, P<0.05) two factors of the existence of gender differences.(4) Female college students in the occupation target (F=4.105, P<005), occupation of confidence (F=3.155, P<0.05), friends and relatives dependent factor (F=3.782, P<0.05) and total score (F=4.650, P<0.05) there was a significant grade differences, other factors are not there are differences. Four girls in the occupation target, occupation was confident that two factors and the total score significantly higher than other grades, female college students in the family depend on this level is a maximum, minimum, big three big four and rose.(5) The different family sources of girls in the occupation of independent (t=2.404, P<0.05), friends and relatives dependent (t=-2.253, P<0.05) and occupation reference (t=3.165, P<0.05) three there is significant difference.(6) Female college students in the occupation decision self-efficacy scale scores (t=2.978, P<0.05) and internal control (t=3.141, P<0.05), powerful others (t=3.088, P<0.05), opportunities for t=2.291, P<0.05) gender differences exist, only in the occupation decision-making self-efficacy scale for each dimension and total scores on the grade difference exists (F=3.721, P<0.05), female college students’ occupation decision-making self-efficacy scale for each dimension and total scores and locus of control scale of each dimension not present professional class differences and subject differences.(7) Female college student occupation decision-making self-efficacy and occupation maturity was significantly related, the correlation coefficient was0.505, P<0.01; female college students’ occupation maturity and internality, powerful others, chance correlation coefficient were0.428,-0.163,-0.167, P<0.01.(8) First of all, to female college students’ occupation maturity score as the dependent variable, to occupation decision-making self-efficacy and locus of control of all dimensions as variables for linear stepwise regression analysis found, self evaluation first entered into the regression equation, followed by internal control and planning also entered into the regression equation, the last is the powerful others entered the regression equation, four independent variables and occupation maturity of the multiple correlation coefficient is0.579, coefficient of determination is0.335, the final regression model integrity inspection of F43.110(P<0.05), so the eight predictor variables can explain33.5%variance of occupation maturity.The conclusions of this study were as following:(1) Female college students most occupation maturity is not high, only a few higher than boys; and, in the overall occupation maturity and each factor of the grade difference exists, but not in the presence of subject and family differences in sources of variance. But the female college students present significant grade differences, big four female occupation maturity were significantly higher than a big, big two, big three female students.(2) Female college student occupation decision-making self-efficacy has significant gender differences, the boys than girls; female college students’ occupation decision-making self-efficacy in the professional category and there was no significant difference between urban and rural students; grade, big four female occupation decision-making self-efficacy were significantly higher than a big, big two and big three female students.(3) Female college students the internality, powerful others and opportunity factors there are significant gender differences, the boys than girls; while in the professional classes, students and grades do not exist significant difference.(4) Female college student occupation decision-making self-efficacy, locus of control and the relationship between the three closely, occupation decision-making self-efficacy, internal control factors and occupation maturity is positively related to occupation, and decision self efficacy self evaluation, planning and locus of control internal control and forces others to occupation maturity are good prediction effect.
