When we are reading,we often see the phenomenon of "not seeing".This phenomenon of shifting an individual's attention from the current task or external environment to one's own internal thoughts and feelings is Mind Wandering(MW),also called distraction,mental movement,etc.This phenomenon is particularly prominent in teaching activities and is worth investigating.This study uses high school students as subjects and mainly uses the questionnaire research method to study the mind wandering,reading interest and reading comprehension of high school students,and examines the relationship between mind wandering and reading interest and reading comprehension.This study mainly uses correlation analysis,linear regression analysis,and intermediary model testing for data processing.First,I divided mind wandering into idiosyncratic thinking wandering and reading thinking wandering to explore the relationship between the two,and then discuss the impact of the two on reading comprehension.Then,through the interest shown by students in reading tasks,the relationship between reading interest,reading thinking wandering,and the results of reading comprehension was discussed.After clarifying the relationship between the variables,a deep discussion was conducted,using a simple intermediary effect model to explore whether mind wandering played an intermediary role in the image of reading interest in reading comprehension.The results show that:(1)When Trait thinking wandering of high school students and its dimensions are significantly positively correlated with reading wandering in reading,Trait thinking wandering has a significant positive effect on reading wandering;(2)High school students Trait thinking wandering and its dimensions are not related to reading comprehension scores;(3)There is a significant negative correlation between reading thinking wandering and reading comprehension scores of high school students.After regression analysis,reading thinking wandering has a significant negative impact on reading comprehension;(4)Reading interest and itsdimensions of high school students have a significant negative correlation with reading thinking wandering.After regression analysis,reading interest has a significant negative impact on reading thinking wandering;(5)The total score and some dimensions of reading interest of high school students have a significant positive correlation with reading comprehension scores.After regression analysis,high school students 'reading interest has a significant positive effect on reading comprehension scores;(6)High school students' thinking wandering,reading interest,and reading comprehension scores are significantly different by the difficulty of the reading materials;(7)Reading interest can not only directly predict reading comprehension scores but also can predict reading comprehension performance through the intermediary role of reading MW.The conclusion of this study is:(1)Trait thinking wandering of high school students can predict reading mind wandering.(2)High school students' reading thinking roaming,reading interest and reading comprehension are easily disturbed by the difficulty of the materials.(3)Reading interest can not only directly predict reading comprehension performance,but also predict the results by the intermediary role of reading MW.
