Study Of The Social Network Behaving Of Chinese Students Association In America

During the new media era,the scale of international students is getting larger and larger.Actively using social media platforms to connect with Chinese international students,while participating in various campus activities and interactions is the main methods for contemporary international students to integrate into the campus culture while studying abroad.With the expansion of the group of Chinese international students,their influence both at home and abroad are increasing,and its performance on social networks has also become a consideration for measuring the overall image of this group at home and abroad.Based on above background,this article uses the Chinese student associations in the United States as the research object.Through social network analysis and case analysis,it analyzes the relationship network and post content formed on Instagram,the behavior of the association,from the node level,network structure level and clique to reflect the social network influence and information interaction of the student organizations in the United States.The study selected 84 student associations Instagram accounts,after analysis they had a connected network,but the network density and centrality are low,which is,the power of the social network of this student associations is more dispersed.Combining section authority centrality and totality centrality,@pennstatecssa,@emersoncollegecsa and @berkeley_cssa are the most influential nodes in the network.This article finds that the influence of the international student community on the social network is directly related to the actual influence of the campus to which the community belongs.Through correlation testing,it also finds that the influence of the international student community account is closely related to the school 's geographical location,number of posts,and content..The research also selects the account of @pennstatecssa as an example to discuss the spread of international student associations on social media from the aspects of the relationship between the accounts of international student associations and users and the content of communication.With the increasing influence of China in the international community,the evaluation standards and scope of China's international image are becoming more and more extensive.This article uses the spread of international student organizations on social media to present a diverse and international image of contemporary Chinese youth To enhance the soft power of the Chinese nation.
