Research On Co-authorship Form Of Engineering Management Subject In Chinese Universities Based On Social Network Analysis

Universities are the important strategic pivot to support the development of China's science and technology,and the development of the subject directly determines the competitiveness of the school.Among the many factors that influence the effect of the development of higher education in the discipline of scientific research personnel between the internal relations of cooperation is one of the crucial factors,many scholars and researches from academic team management perspective,little attention between disciplinary team cooperation among scholars.Based on this,this article intends to take engineering management to explore the cooperative form among the internal scholars in the university discipline team.It mainly studies two aspects: the group level and the individual level.Group level: the basic form of co-authorship network in engineering management discipline of Chinese universities is analyzed,and the overall morphological structure is preliminarily classified.The relationship between the type of co-authorship network structure and the development of disciplines is analyzed.This paper studies the small group phenomenon of the thesis co authored network of various engineering management department,and analyzes the correlation between the cause of the small group and the development of the subject.Individual level: the analysis of the existence of "marginal people" in the paper coauthor network and the explanation of the categories and causes of the "marginalized people";Analysis and classification of the state of the owner of the high structure hole,and study the correlation between the index of the structure hole and the scientific research output of the scholar.Through the relevant research,we can promote the in-depth understanding of the state of scientific research cooperation among the academics of Engineering Management in universities,and enrich the relevant research results.In this paper,the research personnel of 30 colleges and universities,which are evaluated by the engineering management specialty of colleges and universities,are studied.In order to make the conclusion more convincing,the selected 30 colleges and universities cover ordinary colleges,"211 projects" and "985 projects".Using the social network analysis method(SNA),the full text database of CNKI academicperiodicals is used as a data source.Taking the school as a unit,data collection on the papers published by the researchers in 30 universities,all core journals of the CNKI research paper database from 2000 to December 2017,the coauthor network of Engineering Management in 30 colleges and universities has been established.Combined with visualization tools and qualitative and quantitative analysis methods,the correlation between the basic form and preliminary classification of co-authorship network,the type of network structure and the discipline development status were analyzed and explained.The progressive analysis steps of condensed subgroups proposed by Martin Everett: component analysis-factional analysis-factional overlapping analysis,small group analysis of all samples.The phenomenon of small groups in the collaboration network of scientific research in universities is revealed.According to the small group analysis and a lot of background investigation,analysis of the existence of "marginalized people" and explain their categories and causes.Finally,through structural hole analysis,correlation analysis and qualitative analysis,the status of high structure hole owners is analyzed and sorted,and the correlation between structural hole index and scholar research output is studied.The main conclusions of the analysis are as follows:(1)The coauthor network of engineering management discipline in China can be initially divided into three main types: loose network,tight network and local tight network.The number of local tight networks is the most,followed by tight network and the loose network is the least.According to the classification of resource concentration in the co authored network,the co authoring network of engineering management papers in China can be divided into 9 types.(2)There are small groups generally in the internal Chinese university project management discipline team,in different types of networks,there is an obvious relationship between cooperative small groups and small groups,there are a few small groups of free from the overall organization,do not participate in other organizations between the scientific research cooperation activities.(3)The phenomenon of "marginalized people" exists in the coauthor network of engineering management papers in Chinese colleges and universities,and the "marginal people" can be divided into three main types according to the causes.(4)China project management discipline,co-author network,there is a significant positive correlation between individual attributes and the structural hole output;analysis also shows thatthe amount of structural holes occupy scholars include two categories: one is the senior academic leaders;the other is the rapid growth of young scientists.
