In recent years,the aging of the population and the increase in the prevalence of chronic diseases have increased the attention of all sectors of society on health.Older intellectuals in universities have made tremendous contributions to society.After retirement,they face enormous challenges in terms of physical,psychological needs and behavioral capabilities.The State Council stated in the "Opinions on the Implementation of Healthy China Action" issued in 2019: By 2030,the level of universal health literacy will be greatly improved,healthy lifestyles will be basically popularized,and the main health-influencing factors of residents will be effectively controlled.The early mortality rate is significantly reduced.At this stage,China has increased its support for national health in areas such as policy and funding,and only by thoroughly understanding the differences between different groups can we make effective plans.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the health problems of senior intellectuals in colleges and universities.This article is based on Lasswell's "5W-mode" and "KAP",and takes senior intellectuals from universities in Hohhot as the research object.Through the combination of questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews,we can obtain practical data and explore the relationship between the elements of health communication and the health behavior of senior intellectuals in universities.Finally,put forward corresponding improvement strategies.The thesis is divided into five parts.The introduction part mainly discusses the value,significance,methods and innovations of the research.From the four aspects of health communication,healthcommunication for the elderly,health literacy for the elderly,and health communication for the elderly intellectuals,the relevant literature at home and abroad was sorted out.The second part mainly discusses the theoretical support of "5W-mode" and "KAP" to this study,defines the meaning of health communication and health communication elements in this article and the definition and characteristics of senior intellectual groups in universities.The third part mainly includes questionnaire,interview outline design and analysis of survey results.It is concluded that the literacy of health knowledge communicators,the degree of customization of communication content,the effectiveness of media,and the literacy of senior intellectuals in universities have a direct impact on the communication effect.The communication effect will be transformed into healthy behavior after a certain accumulation.The fourth part discusses the existing problems and reasons:The true and false "peers" are difficult to distinguish,and the quality of health knowledge varies greatly;The content is the same and the mental disability is ignored;Rumors abound and community service has limitations;Health literacy is polarized and self-actualization needs are not met;The ability to transform healthy behaviors is not ideal.Then analyze the cause of the problem from these three aspects.The fifth part proposes corresponding improvement strategies for the existing problems: Cultivate opinion leaders of college community health knowledge.Improve the quality of "gatekeepers" in editing;Strengthen the degree of customization of health knowledge communication content for elderly intellectuals.Pay attention to the mental health education of senior intellectuals in universities;integrate health knowledge communication resources and improve college community services.Make reasonable use of the resources of universities and unify the pace.Relevant laws and regulations were introduced to optimize the environment for health knowledge communication;improve the overallhealth communication of senior intellectuals in universities.Encourage college elder intellectuals to communicate more with their peers and become health knowledge communicators;promote the transformation of college elder intellectuals' health knowledge,attitudes,and behaviors.Incorporate the health behavior ability into the college elderly work evaluation system.
