With the rapid development of Chinese tourism industry,the quality of tourism personnel training should be improved.In order to meet the society's demand for talents,effective teaching methods should be adopted in secondary vocational schools.Case teaching method has the outstanding advantage of combining theory with practice,it plays an important role in training high-quality laborers and skilled tourist talents.This paper takes the course of "Tour Guide practice" as an example,and makes a detailed study of case teaching methods in this course,trying to make some useful exploration of improving tourism teaching in secondary vocational schools.This study mainly consists of five parts.The first part is the introduction,which expounds the research background and the significance,the present research situation at home and abroad,the research content and the research purpose,the research method and the technical route,explains the key points,the difficulties and innovations of the the topic.The second part is the research review,defines the core concept,elaborates the theoretical basis.The third part,the application design of case teaching method in the course of "Tour Guide practice" in secondary vocational schools,the model includes analysis stage,design stage and evaluation stage,each stage is discussed in detail.The fourth part is the application example and the experimental analysis of case teaching method in the course of "Tour Guide practice" in secondary vocational schools,designs a concrete application example and carries out the experiment,gets the experimental result.The fifth part is the evaluation of application effect of case teaching method in the course of "Tour Guide practice" in secondary vocational schools,the evaluation of teachers and students in secondary vocational schools was obtained through interviewsand questionnaires,makes an in-depth analysis of the effectiveness of case teaching method in the course of tour guide practice,besides,puts forward optimized suggestions on the existing problems.Through the research,it is found that the application of case teaching method in the course of "Tour Guide practice" in secondary vocational schools is of great significance to the improvement of teaching effect,the comprehensive ability of students and the professional development of teachers.As the research continues,the case teaching method will mature and play a bigger role.
