With the continuous progress of the society and the improvement of the public’s requirements for the service industry,secondary vocational schools pay more attention to the cultivation of students’ service skills and the improvement of the quality of classroom teaching in secondary vocational schools,requiring students to understand and master the professional knowledge and skills process.The combination of schema theory and case analysis can help students better understand the cases,master the relevant professional knowledge presented by the cases through their own understanding and thinking,effectively improve the standardization of traditional case analysis teaching,master the teaching content through case analysis and thinking,and improve the teaching quality.The case analysis method based on schema theory is an innovation on the basis of traditional case teaching.It applies schema theory to every link of case teaching,guides the process of case teaching,makes the teaching of case analysis more standardized and reasonable,and advocates the use of cooperative,heuristic,inquiry and other concepts to carry out teaching.The innovation of this teaching method builds a new teaching model of students’ independent inquiry,group collaborative discussion,and teacher-student interaction,focusing on the improvement of students’ comprehensive literacy and the cultivation of comprehensive ability.At present,the teaching research and practice of case analysis based on schema theory mainly focus on language subjects and has achieved positive results,which plays a positive role in curriculum reform,teaching method innovation and teaching quality improvement.However,due to the influence of some objective factors,how to implement the application of schema in case teaching in practice and how to orderly promote the practical application of case analysis based on schema theory in other courses of the same specialty still need to be studied in depth.This study is based on the historical background of promoting the curriculum reform of secondary vocational education.Firstly,from the perspective of curriculum teaching,the relevant concepts of case analysis and schema theory are defined.Second,through the investigation of the teaching status of "Simulation Tour Guide" course for tourism service and management major of a secondary vocational school in Shandong,master the teaching application status of the case analysis method used in the classroom(from the aspects of case presentation,case analysis and discussion,case summary,etc.),and obtain the demands of teachers of "Simulation Tour" on the current teaching status analysis and teaching reform;Thirdly,the teaching design and practice of "Simulation Tour Guide" course are carried out through the teaching mode combining schema theory and case analysis method.The pre-class case design,class introduction,case presentation,case analysis and discussion,and case summary are carried out in close connection with the characteristics of the teaching content and teaching object of "Simulation Tour Guide".In addition,language schema,declarative knowledge schema,flow schema and comprehensive schema are integrated into different case analysis links according to the characteristics of schema types,and case analysis runs through the whole teaching activities.The results show that case analysis based on schema theory can enhance students’ sense of self-efficacy and interest in learning.It is helpful to cultivate students’ professional ability and achieve teaching objectives.It can realize the advantages of teaching and learning.By exploring the practical application of the case analysis method based on schema theory in the curriculum teaching of secondary vocational schools,this paper aims to provide a "good medicine" for the teaching research and practice of the case analysis method based on schema theory in secondary vocational schools.On the one hand,this study enriches the connotation and characteristics of case analysis based on schema theory and has important theoretical significance and practical value to promote the theoretical development of the teaching method.On the other hand,through the teaching practice of case analysis based on schema theory,it can provide reference for the teaching case design of other subjects,and provide experience reference for secondary vocational schools to adapt to the new round of curriculum reform and teaching method innovation process,so as to cultivate highquality applied talents,which has important practical significance and value.
