This research is based on the study of lack of affection and compensation for senior boarders in primary schools in ethnic minorities.Based on the sample of A town Central Primary School in Jingxi City,field research interviews and questionnaires were conducted with school boarders,faculty,and logistics staff.The problems are summarized from five aspects: the performance and impact of the lack of family relationship among senior boarders in primary schools.The specific contents are mainly emotional fragility and reduced happiness;poor independence,long boarding adaptation period;confused learning,poor academic performance;social ability Low,social development is hindered;poor physical and mental development,prone to psychological problems.Based on field research and literature research,the author analyzes the reasons for the lack of family affection among the senior boarders of A Township Central Primary School from both the home and school perspectives.The main reasons for the family are parents emphasis on achievement and light emotion;improper education methods and neglect of interactive education;shirk the responsibility of education to the school;low cultural quality and lack of relevant psychological knowledge;The main reasons for the school are closed boarding life,which cuts off the connection between students and their families.The small space for autonomous activities makes it difficult to meet the needs of student activities.Teachers have a heavy task,and the degree of care for students has fallen and alienated.There is no one to take care of food and living;the network facilities are not perfect,and it is difficult to meet the needs of students.Aiming at the problems of boarding survivors in the senior grade of A Town Central Elementary School in Jingxi City,the author takesthe theory of pedagogy,psychology and other disciplines as the theoretical supporting point,and considers the solution of the problem on the basis of literature review,survey analysis and problem presentation,Made some suggestions from home and school.The family's suggestions mainly include strengthening family education and establishing a correct outlook on growth;attaching importance to home-school cooperation and taking the responsibility of children's education;reducing intergenerational support,and focusing on family emotional care.School suggestions include infiltrating family education in daily teaching;enrich after-school life;setting up a growth portfolio to focus on student development;rationally providing life teachers to reduce the burden on teaching staff;improving hardware facilities and improving student happiness etc.
