Family culture which is created by all family through social practice and life practice happened in the family.It is the sum of characteristic ethicsvalue,ideology,modern of action,civilization which are connected with some kind of science knowledge. the family culture has the dynamic characteristic,it may changes whilesomething takes place in our society. Landreform in 1950 directly lead to the disintegration of big family,person became widespread personally to the families'property rights benefits.This article, based on the analysis of the visible changes of family culture in Beijing areas from the year 1949 to 1966, aims to explore the causes for the changes of people's value outlook, and the influences on the family culture the new social environment exerted.Chapter one reviews the relation changes among family members, which could be reflected in two aspects: From the year 1949 to 1966, people's living standards in Beijing areas had enjoyed a steady increase, but characterized by uneven development。the relation changes of woman with theirhusband,mother-in-law,and their issue under the background that Beijing areas called for woman going out of the family to pursuing their liberation.the couple was marching towards enjoying equal social status; the once intense relationship between mother in law and daughter in law had been lessened enormosly and became harmonious.Chapter two gives treatment to the changes of family education in Beijing areas. Since the founding of the People'Republic of China, it had been an important issue concerning the child rearing in new social environment. The emphasis of family education has been shifted from the daily morality to the education of proletarian principles. These children were once the dominant force of the Red Guards in the Cultural Revolution.
