In the 21 st century,the unpredictable social environment puts forward higher demand for talent training,students with growth mindset think that intelligence is constantly developing,and this concept helps students to adapt to a more complex living environment.cognitive neural studies suggest that the human brain is constantly evolving throughout human's life.They think that childhood is the fastest growing period,and the primary education is the foundation of quality education and lifelong education.To cultivate students' growth mindset in primary school will achieve long-term educational benefits.There are few researches on the cultivation of growth mindset in China,and there are some problems such as one-side training plan,not specific enough or single method.Therefore,this study attempts to use the action practice method to explore the primary school students to carry on the growth mindset cultivation pattern,forms the certain training plan,provides the certain basis and the reference for the later stage to carry on the elementary school students growth mindset cultivation practice activity.Cognitive neuroscience has found that the brain is malleable,and the central nervous system is most malleable in childhood.The research proves that students' growth mindset can be cultivated by teaching growth mindset knowledge,forming scientific attribution style and mining learning resources.Therefore,from the perspective of action research method as the main line of this study,this study trained the students who are from the Class six,Grade two of Yunyang S Primary School in Chongqing.The study last about four months.The first round of action practice aims to make students understand the theme knowledge of “growth mindset” through classroom teaching and class culture building.Therefore,we will have a certain understanding of the concept,characteristics and influence of growth mindset and fixed mindset.The second round of action practice through the way of classroom teaching and form filling for primary school students “growth mindset” attribution training,aimed at making students understand the importance of learning methods,self-management and learning resources for academic progress,so as to reverse the attribution style,gradually form internal attribution and strengthen the sense of responsibility.The third round of action practice aims to cultivate students' awareness and ability to tap learning resources through classroom teaching,theme class meeting and growth mutual help group.These can make students aware that academic progress can be achieved through the help of others and the misuse of resources.After three rounds of action practice,most of the students master the knowledge growth and relevant theories,They believe that their ability is not fixed,and they can improve their learning methods,strengthen their self-management,and insist on practice to promote their ability development,is willing to pay more efforts to face the challenge in academic,won the progress and growth.This study uses observation,interview,and statistical analysis methods to investigate the effects of training.The results show that the growth mindset of the students has been effectively cultivated,which also indicates that the training program developed in this study has played a good role,and this program will also provide references for other educators to conduct research on growth mindset cultivation.
