This study adopts the methods of literature review,expert interview,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and comparative analysis to study the learning status of basketball students majoring in physical education in Wuhan university of physical education,and to investigate the learning status of basketball students majoring in 2016,2017,2018 and 2019,from five dimensions of learning attitude,learning motivation,learning behavior,learning ability and learning effect,thirteen second-level indicators,and 38 aspects.It also makes a comparative analysis of the learning status of basketball students majoring in grade one and grade four.To provide feasible strategies for improving the learning situation of basketball students in physical education.Through research and analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)the professional basketball teachers of physical education in Wuhan university of physical education have a clear understanding of the learning situation,and believe that there are problems in the learning situation of the students in the special basketball class.The cognition of the students of basketball special class to the study condition needs to be improved,and they think that the study condition is the direct reflection of the study result.(2)students of the basketball special class of physical education in Wuhan university of physical education have the following characteristics: the combination of skills and disciplines,the combination of theory and practice,the combination of in-class and out-of-class,the combination of classroom teaching and independent learning.(3)the students majoring in basketball in physical education of Wuhan university of physical education are generally in a general condition of learning,with good performance in the dimensions of learning motivation,learning ability and learning effect,and poor performance in the dimensions of learning attitude and learning behavior.Good performance is reflected in skilled technology,teaching practice,perfect technology,solid foundation,etc.Poor performance is reflected in firm confidence,expanding knowledge,preparing lessons in advance,and completing plans.(4)there is a significant difference in the learning status of freshmen and seniors majoring in basketball in physical education in Wuhan university of physical education.There are significant differences in the five dimensions of learning attitude,learning motivation,learning behavior,learning effect and learning ability.Specifically speaking,there are no significant differences in the aspects of firm confidence,teaching competition,teacher-student interaction,careful listening,and theoretical assessment,but there are significant differencesin the aspects of skilled technology,expanded knowledge,teaching practice,and precise skills.According to the research results,the style of study develops new appearance,and the performance evaluation is diversified;Improve the practical teaching,theory and practice;Make study plan and carry out regular assessment;To encourage discipline competition and promote learning through competition;Balance technology learning and knowledge learning.
