Basketball referee is an important part of basketball.High-level basketball competition needs to be ensured by a high-level referee team.In China,under the background of the increasingly aging structure of basketball referees,special basketball teachers,as the main group of basketball referees,should not only have a high level of basketball skills and tactics,but also need to master basketball rules and referee laws accurately,and have the judgment ability to better carry out basketball teaching.This requires the department of physical education in colleges and universities to deeply understand the importance of special basketball teachers' training activities of referee,which is based on the knowledge structure and ability and quality characteristics of the referee,in order to carry out teachers' training activities of referee purposefully and in a planned way,thus gradually improve the comprehensive quality of teachers referee.Special teachers of basketball referee training in the department of physical education in colleges and universities in Henan are investigated for their status quo as subject.This investigation adopts the methods of literature,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and logical analysis,which has systematically interpreted the present situation of special teachers in the department of physical education in colleges and universities in Henan,and has summarized the existing problems and then has come to the conclusion as the following aspects:1.Special basketball teachers in the physical education departments of colleges and universities in Henan province have obtained a certain technical level of referees,but their age structure is relatively old,the ratio of men and women is not in good balance,and their professional titles are generally low,with few people gaining high levels and a large proportion of special teacher just in third or second category.Lack of learning motivation,learning channels and opportunities for judgment are the main reasons for not getting higher levels.2.Special basketball teacher referees of the physical education departments of colleges and universities in Henan province have lower levels of basketball matches,mainly at the school level and district level.The lack of referee opportunities,low referee level and their own insufficient experience are the main reasons why they have few opportunities to officiate off-campus high-level basketball games.The frequency of officiating is low.3.The basketball teacher referees of the physical education departments of colleges and universities in Henan province do not continue to participate in the study of referees,mainly because they do not know enough about the importance of referee ability and lacked training channels.4.The training organized and provided by the physical education department mainly focuses on the theoretical knowledge of basketball rules and referee methods,but the practical content of physical fitness,judgment training and other aspects is less,so that theory is more important than practice.Most participating teachers are not satisfied with the effect of training.5.The problems existing in the training of basketball teachers of departments of physical education in colleges and universities in Henan province include the lack of referee motivation;lack of competition adjudication arrangements;lack of systematic training plan;more rely on external cultivation.In view of the problems existing in the training of basketball teachers and referees in sports departments of colleges and universities in Henan province,the following suggestions are proposed:1.The physical education departments should put emphasis on the teachers' referee training in order to encourage teachers obtain higher level of referees.It should also take the referee training activities of special basketball teachers,officiating of basketball competition,basketball referees techniques and other grade appraisal activities into the evaluation system.And give specific material rewards and spirit rewards to those who have excellent performance,thus building up the system of incentive mechanism.referees' cultivation activities,basketball competition enforcement behavior,basketball referees' technical grade assessment activities into the evaluation system,and give targeted material and spiritual rewards to teachers with outstanding performance,so as to construct a system A systematic incentive mechanism.2.Each sports department should actively seek opportunities to cooperate with the local Sports schools and departments should expand the scope of training and encourage more teachers to participate in referee training activities.At the same time,training frequency should basketball special teacher referees' way of cultivation,detail rules of specific ways and measures for special basketball teacher referees to seek opportunity to officiate competitions.The physical education department should also clearly illustrate various incentive measures,set related supervision and assessment measures,and guarantee the orderly implementation of teacher referees training.
