In China,school bullying has received great attention at the national level because of its harm to school safety,violation of students' basic right to education,and persistent negative impact on students' learning,social and mental health.In this context,the prevention and treatment of bullying in school has become an important issue in the education sector.How to prevent bullying before it occurs and how to take intervention and response measures after it occurs has become a hot research topic in the academic circle.As an artistic and educational social activity,Drama in Education(DIE)plays a good role in easing psychological problems,promoting individual self-observation and expression.It can effectively promote the development of individual self-cognition and social cognition.It has been widely used in the prevention and control of school bullying in foreign countries,providing experience for the schools in China to better deal with school bullying.In this context,this topic examines the application strategy of DIE in the prevention and treatment of bullying in schools.This article constructs the analytical framework of this article from two dimensions: the stage of bullying development and the form of DIE.It selects two forms of DIE: Theatre in Education(TIE)and Dramatherapy.It takes Cooling Conflict and Drama-Bully-Prevention Intervention Program as example,to explore the application strategies of anti-bullying themed TIE before bullying and the anti-bullying themed Dramatherapy after bullying.This article uses a case analysis method to explore the aims,specific measures,and the effects of the two research objects at different stages of bullying behavior development.The text analysis method is used to support the application process and effects of two anti-bullying drama projects.Finally,the logical model was used to extract the key application elements of the two research objects and present them logically.The aim is to provide a new way for China to tackle the problem of bullying in schools,and to provide reference of foreign project experience for the frontline educators in China to deal with the problem of bullying.Based on the research and introduction of foreign anti-bullying drama projects,this article clarifies the functions and roles of anti-bullying DIE in enhancing students' awareness and improving student behaviors.It also analyzes the limitations of implementation in the field.In order to further promote the implementation and application of DIE in the prevention and treatment of school bullying in China,and to improve the effect of school bullying prevention work,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: The government should strengthen the construction of curriculum system on the basis of developing related policies,support the development of related curriculum resource,complete the curriculum standard and the corresponding evaluation standards.Schools should attach great importance to curriculum construction that integrates DIE with school bullying prevention,promotes the transformation of teaching modes and assessment methods,and uses DIE techniques in the process of thematic learning and situational learning to improve students and teachers' comprehensive quality in dealing with school bullying.At the social level,it is necessary to give full play to the external support role of various professional organizations and institutions,form a linkage support mechanism between social professionals and schools.Professional DIE training and guidance are needed for the smooth development of the prevention and control of school bullying.
