Jinxi hand lion is an important folk sports event and an important cultural event to understand the traditional culture of Jinxi.Since modern times,with the great changes in the fields of politics,economy and culture,the folk sports culture has declined.Like other folk sports,Jinxi hand lion is facing decline.In 2017,the general office of the State Council issued the opinions on the implementation of the project of inheritance and development of Chinese excellent traditional culture,which put forward the background of inheriting and developing Chinese excellent traditional culture,developing traditional sports and rescuing endangered traditional sports.This paper mainly adopts the research methods of literature,interview,field investigation,logical analysis and so on.After three years of interviewing,hand lion biography has been interviewed Chengren and the staff of Jinxi cultural center paid homage to their teachers to learn the movement of lion hand in person,and elaborated on the spread of lion hand in Jinxi.And from the traditional period,the decline period,the excavation and arrangement period,the stage period,the four periods of Jinxi hand lion's evolution and characteristics are analyzed and studied,trying to clarify the development of hand lion,the reasons for its inheritance to this day,and the expectations of the revival of local lion dance activities are of great significance.Research findings:(1)This paper is the latest achievement in the study of hand lion and the first case in-depth study of hand lion.Through field investigation,it is found that Jinxi hand lion is an important carrier of local traditional culture.It is not only the "local specialty" of Jinxi County,but also the rare "local specialty" of Fuzhou region,Jiangxi Province and even the whole country,which is important for the local cultural heritage and development The function and significance fill in the blank of hand lion research.(2)Hand lion is a "unique" form of folk sports culture in Jinxi County,Jiangxi Province.It has obvious differences from the common lion dance in the form of expression.In the inheritance of hundreds of years,the unique "hand lion" has become a typical symbol of Jinxi folk culture.It is "unique" and "unique" in the Chinese folk sports culture,which is the study of folk sports culture Precious wealth.(3)Jinxi hand lion experienced the process of "playing on the bench","dancing on the bench" and "shaking the lion".The physical structure of the hand lion is significantly different from other lion dance events in performance techniques.Lion dance generally shows the image of "Lion" as majestic and majestic,while hand lion is small and exquisite in appearance and structure,so it is lively and playful in performance,which is mainly related to martial arts closely.In the process of hand lion performance,movement and stillness are combined,hardness and softness are combined,reflecting the technical core of martial arts,which provides a demonstration for hand lion to emerge from the local "bench playing" martial arts.(4)The unique shape of Jinxi hand lion determines the ease of its performing skills.This form of sports technology has experienced repeated processing by the working people of Jinxi.The combination of "one ball and two lions" contains profound traditional culture.(5)Through in-depth field research and unstructured interviews with local people,two main reasons for the origin of the hand lion are clarified: first,it originated in ancient India,after several twists and turns,it spread to Sichuan,then to Kaifeng,Henan,and finally to Hujia village,Jinxi County;second,it originated in the local area and created for the local people on the basis of martial arts practice.Through field investigation,we found that the second statement is more credible.
