This paper demonstrates that the enthusiasm and initiative of high school students to participate in football learning and practice are greatly improved through a controlled experimental study.Taking students who took part in campus football courses as the experimental subjects,there were significant changes in four indicators of tension,anger,depression and panic through the mood test,proving that football learning can play a good promoting role in regulating students' negative emotions.With the aid of football teaching experiment research,analysis on the impact of sports on students' negative emotions,prove that sports teaching to the student scientific research value and significance for negative mood regulation,special for high school teaching reform,the sports teaching of middle school students' mental health has a positive role to offer reference to the related research.Teachers can improve their educational ability through teaching.While improving their teaching ability,teachers can accumulate the means and methods to regulate students' negative emotions and design appropriate teaching contents to regulate students' negative emotions so as to more effectively promote students' mental health.In the teaching,teachers strengthen students' will through antagonistic and venting exercises,overcome negative emotions,dare to face up to shortcomings and take the initiative to correct them,and actively deal with various challenges in life and study,so as to form a lively,sunny and positive character.Active participation in physical exercise is conducive to the control of negative emotions,enhance the ability to adapt to the environment and self-confidence.In the process of campus football teaching experiment,the negative emotions of fatigue and energy of students are not affected much,which requires the teacher to adjust the teaching content and methods in the teaching process,and guide the students' negative emotions in a targeted way.Therefore,in physical education,teachers should timely change the teaching strategies to carry out psychological intervention on students,which is conducive to reducing or even eliminating the influence of negative emotions on students,improving the negative emotions and promoting the psychological health development of middle school students.In the process of teaching,teachers should constantly reflect,accumulate experience,and improve their ability to educate people.Therefore,it is of great research value and significance to improve students' negative emotions through physical education.
