Since 2011, cities in Jiangsu province have opened offices of teenagers’ campus football and implemented football campus activities. Up to the October of 2016, the number of specialized football school grow from 46 in 2011 to 618.The education with high standards and quality relies on teachers’ quality and level, therefore to construct a teachers’ staff with high qualities is the key to improve the quality of teaching. The teachers’ professional level have a direct influence on the quality and effect of campus football. Hence, it is very necessary to investigate and analyze the present condition of teaching staff construction of specialized football school.With the help of literature methods, questionnaire survey and the interview, this paper investigates and researches the teaching staff construction of specialized football school in Jiangsu province. Conclusion obtained are as follows:1.At present, the special football teachers’ allocation of specialized football school in Jiangsu province meets the fundamental requirements of national level, that is a specialized football school is required with at least one football special teacher or a coach. However, more efforts should be attributed to implement football activities in fruitful effect based on the present scale and trend. It is critically necessary to expand the football special teachers’ staff.2.At the sex structure aspect, the number of male football special teacher is 5 times to female. And as the popularization of campus football activity, there will be more demand for female teachers. Meanwhile teachers of football specialized school is younger than those permanent physical teachers, also with a more reasonable age distribution.3.Almost 90% of football teachers from schools which are featured by football in Jiangsu Province have bachelor degree or above. In addition, their graduate schools all belong to the second tier or above. However, only 26% are from first-tier schools.Compared with educational background of other subjects,26% is obviously lower than mean level. Moreover,the overall level of professional titles of football teachers is lower that the mean level of PE teachers,which also contributes to the deficiency of scientific research ability of those football teachers.4.1n schools which are featured by football in Jiangsu Province, 25% of football teachers don’t hold any special training grade certificates of football; 89.6% and 79.2%don’t have the certificate of football coaches or athletes. When it comes to the aspect of the referee card, 55% of them have referee cards, which is better than other aspects.5.In the aspect of continuing education, 80% of football teachers have received at least provincial on-the-job trainings, and the coverage rate is nearly as same as the rate of other subjects. However, the level of lecturers in provincial trainings is not enough, and contents of trainings lack variety, which may affect study achievement of trained teachers.6.The income of football special teachers is almost at the same level with teachers in other subjects. But besides the daily physical curriculums, they are also reponsible for the campus football team contruction and such extracurricular activities as campus football activities and so on. So we can see that their income is still at relatively low level,which may influence its work activity. According to those problems existing in the teaching staff construction in the campus football of Jiangsu province, some suggestions are followed below:To expand the training scale and resources; to improve the professional level; to change the management concepts; to enlarge the investment of teaching management and increse teachers’ income; to improve training quality of later period. |
