Badminton is a skill-based net-combat sport featuring fast speed and many changes. This feature became more apparent after the Badminton World Federation officially implemented the 21-point-per-scoring system in 2006.It puts higher requirements on athletes 'energy expenditure level, and also poses new challenges to athletes' daily training methods, and footwork training is the most important part that affects energy expenditure.PURPOSE:This research is divided into two experiments: the purpose of the first experiment is to explore the characteristics of simulated match structure and energy expenditure; And the purpose of experiment 2 is to find out the best footwork training mode for the match energy expenditure characteristics of male college badminton athletes.METHODS: 12 national level two badminton athletes from the Institute of Physical Education and Sports Training of Shanghai University of Sports voluntarily participated in one maximum oxygen uptake test, one simulated competition test, four different frequencies(1.8s /2.5s)and different intervals(1:1.5 /1:2.5)Badminton footwork test experiments, measuring heart rate(HR),oxygen uptake(VO2),metabolic equivalent(METS)and energy expenditure(EEm)to comparing and analyzing.RESULTS: The average heart rate of male college badminton athletes in simulated matches reached 89.2% HRmax, oxygen uptake reached 80.9% VO2 max, metabolic equivalent reached 10.1 ± 1.8METS,and energy expenditure reached 13.0 ± 2.3Kcal / min;During the four tests, all indicators of the long interval mode(Mode1:HR =161±6bpm?VO2=41.5±2ml/min/kg?METS=8.5±2.1?EEm=10.4±1.7Kcal/ min;Mode3:HR=168±5bpm?VO2=44.7±3.1ml/min/kg?METS=9.2±3.0?EEm =11.5±2.9Kcal/min)are lower than those of the short intermittent mode(mode 2:HR =175±3bpm?VO2=49.7±1.8ml/min/kg?METS=11.8±1.9?EEm=14.0±1.1 Kcal/ min;mode4:HR=183±6bpm?VO2=53.6±3.5ml/min/kg?METS=14.8±1.6?EEm =15.7±3.5Kcal/min),and the indicators of the low-frequency mode(Same as before)are lower than the high-frequency mode Same as before).Among them, the indicators of footwork training mode 1 and mode 3are lower than those measured in the simulation matches(P <0.05),and the indicators of footwork training mode 4 are higher than those measured in the simulation matches(P <0.05),the indicators of the footwork training mode 2 are basically consistent with those measured in the simulated competition(P> 0.05).CONCLUSION:The energy expenditure is 13.0 ± 2.3 Kcal/min,and the actual intermittent ratio of college male adminton athletes' match is 1:1.5;The frequency of change of direction and the interval ratio are both factors that affect the energy consumption of footwork exercises.Among them, the influence of interval ratio is greater, and the energy consumption of practice will increase as the interval time becomes shorter; The footwork training mode 2 sports intensity and energy expenditure level per unit time are similar to the level of simulated competition, which is suitable for male college badminton players to simulate the actual competition expenditure training.Footwork training mode 4 exercise intensity and energy expenditure per unit time are too high, suitable for male college badminton players for anaerobic training;Footwork training modes 1 and 3 under long intervals have too low exercise intensity and energyexpenditure per unit time, which is not suitable for male college badminton players to train.
