With the advent of the information age,the cultivation of compound talents with scientific literacy,technical literacy,social responsibility and environmental protection awareness is the common pursuit of all countries in the world.In order to comply with the development trend of the 21 st century,the newly revised general high school geography curriculum standard proposes to strive to present new achievements in economics,politics,culture,science,society and development in geography teaching,so that students have social responsibility,innovative spirit and practice.ability.Driven by the development of the times,STSE education consisting of science,technology,society and environment emerged as the times require.It emphasizes the relationship between science,technology and society,and the environment,and attaches importance to the role of science and technology in social life,social development and ecological environment.It is of great significance to cultivating the compound talents needed for the development of the times.Combining the STSE concept with geo-research learning is of great significance for the innovative exploration of geo-research learning.Therefore,how to carry out high school geography research learning based on the STSE concept has become a key research content.To this end,research is carried out using methods such as literature research,survey,qualitative analysis,empirical summarization,and action research.First,a questionnaire survey was conducted among teachers and students of Fuzhou Foreign Languages School to understand the current status of geography research learning.Based on the investigation and practice,this paper explores the implementation steps and strategies of the high school geography research learning based on the STSE concept,including: determining the research topic based on the STSE concept;preparing the research in combination with the topic selection;implementing the research and infiltrating the STSE concept;Classroom communication,summing up and improving;designing multiple evaluations based on STSE concept.Finally,based on the STSE concept high school geography research learning steps and strategies,the research activity of “Shared Geographic Information Technology in Bicycles” was carried out,which verified the feasibility of the above training steps and strategies.
