Scientific data is the result of scientific observation,scientific research activities,and it is also an important resource of technological innovation and national development.With the continuous expansion and development of scientific data open sharing,scientific data security issues are increasingly prominent.In order to strengthen the scientific data security management,international organizations,government departments and research institutions have formulated laws and policies from technical and institutional aspects to ensure the security of scientific data.Sutdies have shown that scientific data security needs not only the support of security technology and the perfection of legal system,but also the consideration of human factors.In the research context,researcher play multiple roles including the producer,user,manager,and regulator of scientific data.Scientific data presents a long time span,strong content continuity and complex logical ralationships between data in its life cycle.The multiple identity characteristcs of researcher overlap with the dynamic changes of scientific data forms,resulting in the security of scientific data in the research process largely depends on the researcher's individual behavior.The empirical study shows that the status quo of demestic scientific data security management is not optimistic due to the researcher's irregular behavior.In view of this,this thesis based on the realistic needs of scientific data security management to explore the researcher's scientific data security behavior from behavior perspective and provide theoretical basis for optimizing scientific data security management practices.Universities are the main place for scientific research.As an important part of the research community,university faculty are not only an important participants of scientific research activities,but also the backbone of promote scientific development.University faculty's scientific data security behavior is representive and exemplary in the entire research community.Research on university faculty's scientific data security behavior can improve university faculty's scientific data security management capabilities and provide reference for the whole research community,which is of great significance to improve the scientific data security management system.Therefore,this thesis takes university faculty as the research object.It mainly analyzes the behavior characteristics,influencing factors and formation mechanism of university faculty's scientific data security behavior,and proposes countermeasures and suggestions for regulating scientific data security management for research institutions.The contents and the main contributions of this thesis are focused on the following aspects:Firstly,based on the different stages of the scientific research process,combined with the research results of scientific data security management and information security behavior,this thesis studied the status quo of university faculty's scientific data security management and summarizes the main characteristics of university faculty's scientific data security behavior.The study found that:(1)There are disciplinary differences in the scientific data security management of university faculty.(2)The scientific data of university faculty mainly exists in digital form.(3)The digitized form of scientific data results in a high device dependency on data storage.(4)The problems encountered by university faculty in the process of scientific data security management shows diversity,including both objective and subjective factors.(5)In the process of scientific research cooperation,university faculty lack clear division of powers and responsibilities for scientific data security management.(6)After the end of research projects,university faculty shows inconsistencies on the preservation time of scientific data.(7)To archive scientific data has become an important part of the scientific data security management of university facalty.Secondly,this thesis analyzed and summarized the mainstream theory of personal behavior research,taken theory of planned behavior as the main framework,integrated theory of reasoned action,protection motivation theory,social cognitive theory,norm-activation model,to construct the influencing factors model of scientific data security behavior form four demensions,which include perception,attitude,norm and control,and introduce experience,habit,personality trait and control variable to supply the model.The measurement index is refined,measured and verified in detail,found that the control variable(gender,age,working lifetime)has no significant impact on university facalty's scientific data security behavior,but there is a significant impact between working lifetime and security awarness.Perceived threat,percerved utility,security awareness,personal norm,response effectiveness and self-efficacy will directly affect the willingness of unversity faculty's scientific data security behavior,and social norm has no significant impact on university faculty's scientific data security behavior,experience and habit indirectly affect the willingness of university faculty's scientific data security behavior by influencing perceived threat,perceived utility,security awareness,personal norm,response effectiveness,and self-efficacy.In terms of personality trait,conscientiousness and agreebleness have a significant impact on university faculty's scientific data security behavior,and other personality traits have no significant influence on university faculty's scientific data security behavior.Thirdly,based on the above research conclusions,analyzed the mechanism of university faculty's scientific data security behvior derived form psychology,organizational behavior,social bond theory,deterrency theory,social learning theory,technology acceptance model and risk management.According to the S-O-R model,analyzed the formation process of university faculty's scientific data security behavior from the three stages including receiving stimulus,coping with stimulation and forming behavior.According to organizational behavior,this thesis analyzed the mechanism of group motive on the university faculty's scientific data security behavior in the process of research cooperation.According to the social bond theory,this thesis expounded the role of social bond in promoting university faculty's scientific data security behavior and how do organizations use social bond to impact university faculty's scientific data security behavior.According to the deterrence theory,explained the mechanism of punishment and reward for university faculty's scientific data security behavior.According to the social learning theory,analyzed how do university faculty adjust their behavior to adapt to organizational norms by observing learning and strengthening.According to the technology acceptance model,analyzed the formation process of university faculty's scientific data security behavior in the process of using new tools or techniques to ensure the security of scientific data.From the risk management perspective,analyzed the impact of scientific data security risk on university faculty's scientific data security behavior from the identification,processing and evaluation of scientific data security risks.Finally,according to the behavior characteristics,influencing factors,mechanism of university faculty's scientific security behavior,proposed countermeasures and suggestions for regulating university faculty's scientific data behavior from the national,organizational and individual level.In conclusion,this thesis from a behavioral perspective,analyzed the behavioral characteristics,influencing factors and mechanisms of university faculty's scientific data security behavior based on scientific data security management and information security behavior.The research conclusions helps to deepen and expand the research scope of information security behavior and consummate the scientific data security management system.It has practical significance for regulating university faculty and other research community's scientific data security behavior,and can provide a theoretical basis for the relevant organizations to formulate scientific data security management policies.
