With the acceleration of the localization of social work,when the problem of migrant children has aroused widespread concern from all walks of life,social services are increasingly involved in the field of migrant children.Evaluation is particularly important with the depth of the service.In the process of specific intervention services in the field of migrant children,the effectiveness of assessing their intervention has gradually attracted attention.Based on this background,this study takes the social work project of children in the Q community as an example,to evaluate the effectiveness of the project and explore the effectiveness of social work in intervening in the integration and development of migrant children's communities.This study hopes to evaluate the project to analyze the inadequacies of social work project design and assessment in the field of migrant children,and to provide suggestions for the follow-up social work involved in migrant children's services.This article based on the CIPP theoretical model,data collection and analysis were conducted using interviews,questionnaires,and participatory observations to assess the effectiveness of the “Star Light” project.On this basis,analyze the shortcomings in the project design,development and evaluation process.Through research,it is found that this project is more reasonable in target setting and content design,rational use of resources during project implementation and carry out activities as planned.In addition,through quantitative and qualitative methods,the project performance was evaluated and found that the project service achieved certain project goals.The client has some growth changes before and after participating in the service,but the project results are not very significant.Based on this,the author reflects from the perspective of the evidence text,analyze some of the problems in the design and development of the project.First,insufficient interpretation of questions and needs.Second,lack of evidence for intervention activities.Third,lack of social work professionalism in intervention activities.Fourth,lack of assessment and reflection.The author hopes that the research in this paper can provide reflection and suggestions for subsequent project design and evaluation of the same type,enhance the intervention effect of follow-up services.
