A Case Study Of Hospice Reverse Care For Patients With Advanced Cance

In terms of Chinese traditional concept,the public will regard the dying as the weak and the problematic,while social work believes that the service object is the actor in the process of solving the problem.Using the method of social work professional assistance to intervene hospice care service(terminal care service for cancer patients),the ethical perspective of equality and difference equality,regards patients as the first case owner and caregivers as the second case owner.Due to the complexity of patients' problems,the second case owner's hospice reverse care needs are prominent.From the perspective of social work practice,to explore the application connotation and intervention strategy of hospice reverse care,from the aspects of speech,behavior,spirit,social life and so on,to enhance the reverse care of patients' contrast caregivers,help caregivers to create a loving atmosphere for the final journey of patients' life,and finally realize the purpose of hospice service "to improve the quality of patients' life and give life dignity".However,in the actual process of service intervention,the multiple practical difficulties make the workers full of helping feelings feel powerless.How to jump out of the traditional thinking of hospice care,help people scientifically and effectively,so as to realize the caring purpose of hospice service is the original intention of this study.In the process of research and investigation,existential theory provides a theoretical basis for case intervention,and gives workers an analytical perspective on the dilemma of the case owner,so that they can help the case owner to face the nature of the problem,accept the responsibility of actors or selectors,and see the non authentic "self deception" elements in life,so as to turn to the truth and seek change.In addition,there is little experience in the application of existential theory in the process of providing practical help in hospice care service.It is difficult for workers to control it.Whether the existential help method is applicable to the patients and their families in this study is the focus of this study.The needs assessment of patients with advanced cancer and their families is the key to choose the theoretical model,while the assessment of problems needs to explore the background of patients,carefully comb to find the causes of patients' weakness,so as to avoid and self deception and prolong meaningless life.To convey freedom and choice positively to patients and their families,and try to introduce this strategy into the social work service of hospice care...
