Love is an eternal topic.Teachers' love is the core of love education,and only by loving students can we teachers educate them better.The novice teachers of primary schools,as a special group,are full of enthusiasm and concern about their coming teaching career.Due to the lack of sufficient educational practice,they are more likely to fall into a “dilemma” when they devote teachers' love into practical work.That is,they think they are devoted enough to care for students,but their efforts are not paid off as expected or students seldom give positive feedback.This study aims to trace the teachers' love behaviors of novice teachers in primary schools,analyze the potential problems that may occur and explore feasible strategies to avoid them.With that,practical problems of teachers' love of novice teachers in primary schools can be solved,helping students to gain more quality teachers' love and getting through the career adjustment period better.This study is mainly conducted by means of interview,observation and questionnaire,taking 7 novice teachers and 10 primary school students in S District of S City as the formal interviewees.Classroom observation is used by the author to understand the current situation of teachers' love of novice teachers in primary schools in the district.By adopting the literature review,interview,observation and questionnaire,this study is to explore the real state of the practice of teachers' love of primary school teachers,further analyze the current situation of the practice of teachers' love from four aspects: the purpose,object,way and process of practice of teachers' love.It is found that novice teachers in primary schools mainly have the following problems in the process of practicing teachers' love:(1)The purpose of teachers' love is a little possessive.That is,teachers give love is to shape students' morality,increasestudents' achievement,keep and ensure the classroom teaching smoothly.(2)The object of teachers' love is deviated.That is,novice teachers in primary schools pay much attention to the likable students,special students and mischievous ones.(3)The ways of teachers' love are simplified.There are three ways of teachers' love: granting every request,censuring and rewarding excessively.(4)The teachers' love is practiced predominantly.That is,novice teachers in primary schools lack listening and respect for students so that they cannot express love appropriately.The main factors which lead to the above phenomenon may include: the deviation of understanding in teachers' love concepts and consciousness,the obvious utilitarian tendency of education value,lack of guidance and assistance from schools to novice teachers in primary school,lack of practical experience of novice teachers in primary schools.In order to avoid the problems existing in the practice of teachers' love,the following suggestions could be adopted: it is essential to explore new models of teacher education,including pedagogical education and pre-service training.As far as the school is concerned,it is quite necessary to give novice teachers humanistic care,such as trusting novice teachers,helping them and playing an exemplary role.In addition,novice teachers in primary school need to improve their professional literacy.First of all,novice teachers should understand the connotation of love and the nature of teachers' love.Second,teachers should be able to love.Third,teachers should love properly.In terms of the society,it is very important to create a good social environment to make novice teachers dare to love and can love,such as the socio-economic status of novice teachers should be improved,teachers' time and space should be guaranteed and the teaching evaluation system and standard should be upgraded.
