Human beings as a species of a social animal,the phycological development of individuals strictly depends on environments and relations of the society that he or she lives in,as in a specific social environment and relations nurture a child's mind,and concrete a child's nature.Peer interaction is a significant ability of young children's social competence.Peer interaction's integrality,designability and measurability made it have become a hot area of early childhood education among the entire world.Many previous studies have been showed that peer interaction plays a vital role in a young child's psychological development.However,there are not enough studies focusing on Chinese children due to the reason of lack of attention.Furthermore,a majority of existing studies inclined descriptive research.About to home education,systematical method of scientifically understanding and evaluating children's peer interaction is yet to be formed.Therefore,it is necessary to re-evaluate children's peer interaction the present time.Further describe the situation of Chinese children's peer interaction ability and update the understanding of the status quo.Even more,this research would attempt to provide considered suggestions to parents who have relevant concerns.This research would attempt to add a piece on the following topics: 1.The applicableness of children's interaction strength analyzing tools.2.Status quo of Chinese children interaction ability.3.The status and ability of peer interaction in different age and sex.This research applies a random sampling survey to Children age between three to six in district J,and includes sampling in a total size of 3,577 in two times: 282 at the first time and 2839 at the second time.Research Findings:1.Applicableness of the “Children Interaction Ability Scale for age between three to six”is reliable and validated.2.In district J,the Ability of Children interaction is well developing in an integrated view.Interaction ability scores increases with the increase of age.3.Statistically,there is a significant difference between different sex on the interaction ability.Female children are leading on nonverbal communication score and prosocial behavior scores.4.Influence factors include the ranking of a kindergarten,whether the kindergarten is private or public,parenting style,family structure,the level of mother's education.Suggestions:1.Improve peer interaction ability by designing a specific plan according to the different cases.2.Value the parenting styles that are scientifically proven working for improving children's peer interaction ability.3.Caregivers' intention of staying informed and self-educated contributes to their children's peer interaction ability.
