The cultivation of key competency is the goal orientation and value pursuit of curriculum and teaching reform in our country and even in the world,this highly comprehensive competency calls for the application of integrated thinking in curriculum and teaching.On the other hand,there is no connection between knowledge and knowledge,between subject and subject,and between school and society in the current branch teaching in our country.We have to think about an effective integrated teaching method,subject project learning is an integrated learning way! At the same time,the cultivation of core literacy depends on the cultivation of discipline core literacy to implement.At the same time,the cultivation of key competency depends on the cultivation of subject key competency to implement,therefore,the deep understanding and continuous construction of the essential knowledge of subject is also the inherent requirement of key competency.Can we combine the subject project learning with the deep understanding and continuous construction of the essential knowledge of the subject? In January 2018,the Ministry of Education issued the latest general high school curriculum standard,which states: " Using big ideas to optimize curriculum content to promote the generation of students' key competency ".This provides a way of thinking for the solution of these problems.In theory,in order to integrate the big ideas with the subject project learning,we must analyze the problems existing in the subject project learning,the essential attribute of the big ideas,the relationship between the big ideas and the project learning.Based on this,the study is divided into seven parts: The first part is the introduction,which mainly discusses the reasons of this research,the definition of the core concept,the summary of relevant research,the theoretical basis and the research design.The second part is the analysis of the present situation,including the successful experience,the outstanding problems,and the causes of the problems in the implementation of subject-based learning.The third part expounds the connotation,characteristic,types and manifestations of big ideas.Including the connotation of the big ideas from the three dimensions of knowledge theory,methodology and value theory.It also points out that the big ideas has four characteristics: structure,development,significance and flexibility.From the degree of integration,the big ideas can be divided into intradisciplinary big ideas,cross-disciplinary big ideas,and transdisciplinary big ideas.From the difference of content structure,the general idea can be divided into content big ideas,Methodical big ideas,attitude big ideas.Then the symbolic form of big ideas and big ideas are described as the presentation form of the learning content.The fourth part discusses the the value of big ideas in project-based learning,and points out that big ideas,as a high-quality knowledge,has a powerful controlling effect,which is of great value to teachers' teaching design and the development of students' scientific concept and key competency.On the basis of constructivist learning theory,cognitive learning theory and general characteristics of big ideas analysis,the fifth part discusses the development mechanism of big ideas in PBL(the project-based learning),that is to say,based on the students' original ideas and attitudes,the path of mosaic,ladder and spiral as the development path,the related question string as the carrier,the cooperative support of all parties as the condition,the comprehensive evaluation of the project works as the core as the guarantee;The sixth part follows the fifth part to try to design subject project learning design framework based on the Integration of big ideas,including the design assumptions,six design objects,design patterns and corresponding lesson plans.The seventh part aims at the three difficult problems in the subject project learning based on the Integration of big ideas design in the primary and middle school classroom,and puts forward the design strategies to solve the corresponding problems.This research has some breakthrough and contribution in theory and practice.Firstly,using the interview method and classroom observation to find out that subject project learning because of the lack of high quality knowledge and teaching design integrator shows the problems of scattered learning process,shallow learning results and so on from practice.Secondly,based on the research and analysis of the big ideas,it is proposed that the big ideas should be used as the core knowledge and integrators to solve this problem,then it puts forward the development mechanism of big ideas in project learning,the framework of subject project learning based on the Integration of big ideas and the strategies to to solve the difficulties in design,in the theoretical and practical level to solve the subject project learning scattered,shallow problems.This study not only enriches the research results of big ideas,but also optimizes the cultivation path of key competency.
