Enlightenment Of Laozi Thought Of Tao Te Ching On Moral Education Of Contemporary College Students

The Tao Te Ching,which was formed in the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period,is the cream of China's traditional culture and the gem of world culture.It is the world's largest cultural book besides the Bible.In the cultural map of various schools of thought,Taoism represented by Lao Zi was widely used in the fields of politics,economy,culture,management and education.In recent years,with the progress of society and the high prosperity of ideology and culture,there have been many problems in the moral education of college students.The extreme expansion of material desire,the lack of integrity,the rampant network violence,and the lack of down-to-earth spirit have puzzled the moral education of college students.The root cause of these problems lies in the serious distortion of College Students' Outlook on life,values and money.Lao Zi's "Tao Te Ching" puts forward the moral education thoughts of "respecting the Tao and guiding the morality,embracing simplicity,starting a journey of a thousand miles with one step,being skillful as one's own,and not fighting for the sake of others",which are of great significance to the moral education of college students.This paper mainly takes Lao Zi's thought of "Tao Te Ching" as the theoretical basis of College Students' moral education,clarifies the moral education thought and moral education function contained in Lao Zi's "Tao Te Ching",probes into the specific problems existing in college students' moral education,and puts forward the Enlightenment of "Tao Te Ching" on College Students' moral education.The specific contents include: first,the life of Lao Zi and the ideological content of the Tao Te Ching are summarized.This paper summarizes the main ideas of Tao Te Ching,including ontology,origin and rules.Secondly,it discusses the moral education thought contained in the book of morality from three aspects: the goal,the content and the method of moral education.Thirdly,it expounds the moral education function reflected in the Tao Te Ching,which mainly includes dialectical cognitive function,moral behavior guidance function of thrifty and practical work,and negative misleading function of not fighting for few desires.Fourth,from Lao Zi's "Tao Te Ching" thought to see the problems of moral education of college students.There are three aspects: the lack of moral belief,the decline of moral quality and the alienation of moral behavior.Fifthly,it discusses the Enlightenment of the book of morality to the moral education of college students.The contents include strengthening the moral education,remolding the moral quality of college students,abiding by the moral code of conduct,advocating the public morality,constructing the sound moral character and cultivating the moral spirit of emptiness and quietness.
