The Optimization Study On The Scoring Criteria Of The Swimming Athletes' Selection Aged 11-15 Years Old In Jiangsu

This paper was based on The selection criteria of future star of swimming events in Jiangsu province.Nine of the objective indexes were employed as research objects.More than 200 young swimmers,aged from 11 to 15 in the 19 th Provincial Games of Jiangsu,were investigated on their sport performance and index test results,aiming at optimize the scoring criteria of each index.The metholds using in this reasch included field measurement,documentary research,mathematical statistics,expert interview and comprehensive analysis.The specific research contents are as follows.Firstly,the optimal offset for the scoring interval of each index was obtained by minimizing the arithmetic mean deviation.Secondly,the results of each index item and sports performance were analyzed one by one,in order to study the influence of each index item on sports performance.Finally,the influence degree of each index item was normalized to obtain the weight of each index item after optimization.Research conclusions: 1)the indexes were fitted with sports performance one by one to improve the scientificity of material selection evaluation standard.2)The scoring intervals were optimized to improve the correlation between index score and sports performance.3)The influence rule of material selection index score and sports performance was analyzed,and the emphasis of material selection was made clear.4)The weights of 9 material selection indexes were calculated again to improve the rationality of the scoring results of material selection indexes.Finally,this paper compared the correlation between the original scoring criteria and the optimized scoring criteria.The results showed that the optimized scoring standard improved the correlation between the athletes' performance and the total score,and provided an accurate reference for the selection of swimming athletes.Based on the research results,the suggestions in view of the problems existing in the selection of swimming talents are as follows.1)The related functional departments should deeply study the selection of young swimmers.2)database for athlete selection should be established.3)The selection of swimmers should be based on scientific selection and experience selection.4)The provincial sports bureau set up the sports science research institute and accomplished the specially-assigned person full-time.
