| In recent years,the information industry has developed rapidly with the maturity of Internet technology,while the big data era is coming quietly.People are increasingly aware of the importance of data,only with good data analysis ability can we make better judgment and decision under the impact of massive data.A country's future depends on the youth,high school students are the future of our country.In order to meet the needs of mathematics curriculum reform and the challenges of the21 st century,it is necessary to cultivate high school students' data analysis literacy.How to effectively cultivate high school students' data analysis literacy in mathematics teaching? Around this core issue,this study carried out the following two works:(1)In order to investigate and understand the current situation of high school students' data analysis literacy development level,the author randomly selected 291 students from six classes of different subjects in the secondary school to conduct a questionnaire survey.In addition,the author also selected 12 teachers of teaching schools to conduct semi-structured interviews in order to understand the cognitive level of high school mathematics teachers on data analysis literacy.(2)Based on the literature research and survey results,PBL teaching mode was used to conduct an eight week experimental study on the students in the probability and statistics class.According to the preliminary investigation,the development level of the data analysis literacy of the investigated senior high school students is not optimistic.The students generally don't pay much attention to and understand what the data analysis literacy is,and they don't realize the importance of it when they study the knowledge related to probability and statistics.Through the teacher interview,it can be seen that the interviewed teachers have a solid professional foundation in mathematics,generally understand the core quality of mathematics,and also recognize the importance of data analysis quality in the teaching process,but there is no good way to cultivate students' data analysis quality.The later experimental research shows that PBL teaching mode can effectively cultivate students' data analysis literacy in the new teaching of probability and statistics in the second stage of senior high school,and the test results of data analysis literacy in the experimental group and the control group are statistically significant(P= 0.037).In addition,the experimental group's interest in mathematics and attitude towards the course of "probability and statistics" were better than the control group. |
