The objects of Chinese teaching around the world tend to be younger and younger,so does Thailand.A child's Chinese teaching in Thailand is the same as other countries,whose teaching objects are learners who master three and more languages.Relative researchers agree that multilingual learners have an advantage while learning a new language,especially in the process of vocabulary learning;while in the process of multilingual learning,due to the distance among languages,the learning level of learners,language environment of learners,the order of languages learning and so on,there are many problems.Although the research on Chinese teaching in Thailand is relatively mature,it is not perfect to study Chinese teaching in the context of multilingual learning.Therefore,based on the author's ten-month practice of Chinese teaching on early children in Thailand,under the support of the theory of language acquisition and multilingual education,the author interviewed a number of Thailand teachers teaching children Chinese and conducted a questionnaire survey on 66 Thailand teachers teaching children Chinese,thus further understood the current situation of early children Chinese teaching in Thailand in the context of multilingual learning.From this to find out the existing Chinese teaching problems,and finally put forward more reasonable suggestions.Chapter one: Introduction mainly includes the research reasons,relative conclusion,and the basic theory and research methods.Chapter two: Description on the multilingual learning situation and characteristic of children in Thailand.This chapter mainly describes the multilingual learning situation of the kindergarten where the author is,so as to show the multilingual learning situation and characteristics of a kindergarten in Thailand more realistically and in detail.Chapter Three is the author's survey on the current situation of Chinese teaching in Thailand children under the background of multilingual learning.The main contents of the survey are the basic situation of Chinese teachers,the basic situation of teaching schools,the basic situation of teaching objects,the choice of teaching content,and the use of teaching language and the use,assessment and feedback of teaching methods.Chapter four,based on the investigation of children's Chinese teaching in Thailand in the context of multilingual learning the author summarizes and analyzes the problems of children's Chinese teaching in Thailand in the context of multilingual learning,and puts forward suggestions and reflections.The last chapter is the conclusion,which mainly elaborates the research conclusion,the research insufficiency and the related research prospect.
