Before the reform and opening up,China's economic and social development level lags far behind developed countries in the world. With the implementation of the reform and opening up policy,China's economic and social development has made tremendous progress, but at the same time, there have been many serious problems, including income inequality It attracts special attention. At the same time, with the intensification of China ' s social changes and the continuous impact of multiculturalism at home and abroad,China ' s social marriage concepts and marriage matching models have also undergone tremendous changes, and this huge change is bound to have a significant impact on the entire society. Most previous research on income inequality has focused on the impact of overall shocks(increased returns on skills, technological bias toward technological change, globalization),institutions and policies(labor market deregulation, lower marginal income tax rates,etc.).These are the main drivers of the recent rise in inequality between most developed and developing countries. The effects of demographic factors, especially various marriage matching models, have only recently been studied, and no consensus has been reached on the magnitude of these effects. How exactly does modern marriage matching affect family income inequality? The positive choice of marriage, that is,assortative mating, provides a new perspective to explain income inequality. This article first sorts out domestic and foreign related documents on marriage matching and income inequality, including a total of six aspects of the literature:marriage matching mode, marriage matching standards, marriage matching and marriage quality, homogeneous marriage matching and income inequality, income inequality The causes of equality and the consequences of income inequality, and summarized and summarized Becker's marriage optimal matching theory, that is,the positive classification matching theory, and the main theories and methods of the relationship between marriage matching mode and income inequality;Secondly, using the CHIP data of five years from 1988,1995,2002,2008 and 2013 to explore the main characteristics and changes of China 's marriage matching model,it is found that the marriage matching model in China still uses assortative mating as Lord, and the degree of this assortative mating generally tends to strengthen; Then, using the data in the "Annual Book of the National Bureau of Statistics" to describe the current situation of income inequality in China, and a more intuitive analysis of the relationship between assortative mating and income inequality,it was found that the situation of income inequality in China is still severe. There may be a connection between qualitative marriage and income inequality; Finally, using the CHIP data from2013,a new method was created based on the original research method, that is,a random matching method based on the Heckman sample selection model. The contrast between the counterfactual experimental group and the control group was used to study the income distribution of assortative mating. The specific contribution of equality,it is found that homosexual marriage will increase income inequality and have a greater impact on the rural population. If homogeneous marriages are excluded, the Gini coefficient of the urban population will be reduced by 14.2%,and the Gini coefficient of the rural population will be reduced by 17.9%,and China's income inequality will be significantly improved. Therefore, strengthening social security, reducing employment discrimination, advocating diversified marriages, providing skills training to low-education families, and giving appropriate subsidies to low-income families are good measures to alleviate household income inequality.
