At present,human society is in a new era of rapid development and fierce competition with high-tech emerges continuously.Therefore,how to enable each individual student to face the changing times better in the future and develop more sufficiently has become an important issue that the current education teaching must face and solve urgently.Based on this,the "National High School History Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)" promulgated by the Ministry of Education clearly states: The high school history curriculum should make further improvement on the teaching methods to promote students' independent learning,thereby improving their practical ability and cultivating innovative spirit.It can be seen that teaching students how to learn and possessing the ability of self-learning and self-development in the new era is the need of times,and also the inevitable requirements of educational reform and development.As an important part of the humanities,the high school history curriculum carries the important task of implementing the moral education.For this reason,the research on high school students self-learning ability to develop the displine of history has great practical significance.Based on the relevant theoretical research results of self-study,this paper makes a thorough investigation and analysis on the status of senior high school students' self-study in history.The survey is conducted by means of questionnaire scoring among students and teachers of five high schools in the author's area.The study shows that students in senior high school face a lot of problems in self-study in the current history class,mainly in the following aspects: the lack of students' learning motivation;the students can not manage the learning process effectively;the students' learning methods need to be optimized;The authoritative relationship between teachers and students still has much room for improvement;neglecting the cultivation of higher levels of learning ability such as student's autonomy and inquiry;the teaching philosophy and the teaching methods of teachers need to be improved.This essay analyzes the study of the current situation in self-learning,and discusses the strategies to foster the ability of independent study according to the main two problems existing in the study.These are the basic steps of training self-learning ability and the teaching strategies of developing self-learning ability.At the same time,according to the conclusions of the study,the author discusses the results of students 'ability on automatic learning from four perspectives.First,good for inducing students 'intrinsic motivation.Second,beneficial to the dominant learning position of students,making students truly become the masters of learning.Third,conducive to the improvement of students' learning ability.Fourth,conducive to changing the traditional curriculum concept and promoting students' comprehensiveness.And finally gives further explanation and reflection on the existing problems.
