Safety cognition is the subject's cognition of dangerous situations,including the identification of dangerous situation,understanding the cause of the occurrence of the dangerous situation and the awareness of measures to prevent the dangerous situation.The development of children's safety cognition ability is of great significance to deal with dangerous situations and self-protection.So what are the developmental characteristics of children's safety cognition? What factors can affect children's safety cognition level? On the basis of combing the relevant literatures,this study studies the development characteristics and influencing factors of children's safety cognition level by combining picture survey method and questionnaire survey.In this study,eight types of security incidents were determined through questionnaire screening,and each type of security incident contained 2-4 specific situations,for a total of 23 specific danger situations.Twenty-three specific dangerous situations were made into pictures,and six classes of small,medium and large in two kindergartens with different levels were tested with the picture survey method with a total of 180 children in order to explore the developmental characteristics of children's safety cognition.The results of the study showed that:1.Children's safety cognition is generally good,and the level of safety cognition increases with age;2.Children can be aware of potential risks,but there are obvious age differences in their understanding of the causes and correct behaviors to avoid risks;3.Middle class is the rapid development period of children's safety cognition development;4.Children's safety cognition level of various events increases with the growth of age;5.Children have the best cognition of cutting and scratching events and the worst cognition of drowning events;6.Male students have a higher safety awareness of falling and cutting than female students;7.Children's perception of the dangerous situation with strong intuition is better than that of the hidden dangerous situation.This study explored the influencing factors of children's safety cognition level through the “Children's Safety Cognitive Influencing Factors Questionnaire”(teacher volume)(Parental Volume).The results of the study indicate that the level of children's safety cognition is influenced by the family,the kindergarten and themselves.1.Family factorsare the family parental style,parents' safety cognition level,parental safety education and the effect of parents' safety education;2.kindergarten factors are the grade of kindergarten,the education background of preschool teachers,the safety cognition level of preschool teachers,the safety education of preschool teachers,and the effect of safety education of preschool teachers;3.The self-factor is the self-care ability of the child.Finally,this study puts forward corresponding educational suggestions according to the development characteristics of children's safety cognition and the influencing factors of children's safety cognition,in order to promote the improvement of children's safety cognition level.
