With the wide application of photographic technology and the development of educational information,image materials,as a curriculum resource,are increasingly being used in history teaching.Combined with the in-depth reform of the new history curriculum and the promulgation of new curriculum standards,how to apply image materials effectively and properly in history teaching is the purpose of this paper.Relying on literature reading,educational experiments and other research methods to understand application status of image data and the current situation and problems faced.From the perspective of applied research,how to apply different types of image data in teaching,and how to resolve the difficulties in the application of image data.Image data can be divided into different types according to different image narratives,and play different roles in teaching.Among them,historical image data can make up for the lack of literature materials in teaching,and solve the difficult problems of teaching;reducing data can create historical situations and enrich Students' understanding of historical materials;fictional materials can help students carry out inquiry activities and expand learning,and correct students' historical bias.The difficulty in obtaining image data requires teachers to pay attention to the collection and arrangement of image data.It is also recommended that textbook publishers should be equipped with corresponding teaching materials.In application,it is necessary to recognize the important role of image data as a curriculum resource,and to control the duration of time in teaching.Make the best use of image data to enhance the important role of students' historical interpretation ability.The author believes that historical image data as an important curriculum resource should be valued by historical educators.Middle school students in the current complicated and complex world of imaging need teachers to guide and play the important significance of image data in history learning.
