Research On After School Child-care For Pupils In Less-developed Areas

As the implementation of the policy of "ease the burden of students",the time students at school has been shorten,parents can't pick up their children on time,which leads to the problem of taking care of primary school when they leave school.In order to solve the parents' problems in picking up their children,in 2017 Ministry of Education made a policy called “Guiding Opinions on the After-school Care Service for Primary and Middle School Students” to encourage efforts to develop service work.T county,Anhui province,started to pilot the after-school school care service for primary school students in March 2019.Since its implementation,the service has not only been recognized by parents,but also received much attention from all walks of life.However,there are some problems in the process of implementation.Combining with the characteristics of T county,which is an less-developed area,it is of certain practical significance and social value to conduct comprehensive research on after-school care.In this study,methods such as literature analysis,questionnaire survey,interview and observation were used to study after-school care.Firstly,the existing research results were collected and sorted out to have a comprehensive understanding of the research status of after-school care,which laid a theoretical foundation for this study.Then by investigating the current situatiuon of the after-school hosting work of the two primary schools in T County and sorting and analyzing the present situation and problems of schools,parents,students and administrators,summed up T's root cause on after-school hosting: the single form,the arrangement of staff,the lack of guidance and supervision and the limited time.Through the investigation and the analysis of the status,we can put forward some countermeasures from the aspects of form,staff,institute and community on the basis of learning experience from domestic and foreign forms of taking care of primary students.Thus the service of taking care of children can be promoted.
