Objective: The purpose of this study is to use pre-school children's gross motor qual ity scale PGMQ as an assessment tool, and to use three-month rhythmic physical activity as an intervention method to measure the developmental level of gross movements in y oung children, and to observe whether rhythmic physical activity It plays a role in prom oting the development of children's gross movements, and whether its promotion effect is better than the traditional way of physical activity.Research methods: The literature data method, test method, experimental method,co mparative analysis method and mathematical statistics method are adopted,of which the t est method and experimental method are the main research methods.A total of 50 childr en aged 4-5 in a kindergarten in a kindergarten in Huanggu District,Shenyang,Liaoning Province were tested in the experiment,of which 25 were in the experimental class and25 were in the control class.Rhythmic physical activity was used as an intervention me thod in the experiment. The intervention time was three months and three classes per we ek.The preschool children's gross motor quality scale was used to test the young childre n before and after the experimental intervention to explore the rhythmic physical activity.Promoting effect of coarse motor development in 5-year-old children. Results: 1.After the intervention of rhythmic physical activity, the gross scores of g ross motor, mobility scores, manipulation ability scores and balance ability scores of chil dren in the experimental class were significantly improved,P <0.01 had extremely signifi cant differences.2.The children's gross motor scores, mobility scores, manipulation abilit y scores, and balance ability scores in the control class did not significantly improve afte r the experimental intervention. There was no significant difference for P> 0.05.3.The most significant difference between the two classes after the intervention of rhythmic phy sical activity is the jumping of horses and the back and forth movements of both feet,P<0.01.Significant differences were found in running, standing long jumps, sliding sidew ays movements, catching the ball with both hands, kicking the ball, standing on one foot, and standing on both feet,P <0.05.Conclusions: 1.Rhythmic physical activity can promote the development of children's gross motor, including their ability to move, balance, and control, especially the ability to move more greatly.2.In the control class, the gross scores of children's gross motor, their mobility, control and balance ability also improved, but the increase was small.3.Rhythmic physical activity is more conducive to promoting the development of gross m otor in children aged 4-5 than traditional physical activities.
